We had the Sunday roast beef special, just awesome😋. Didn't know you're supposed to request it when you make your reservation, but Dalia, our amazing server, brought over Brenden, the chef, who graciously not only accommodated us, but made us feel like old friends. We also had a pound of delicious, plump, juicy chicken wings as a starter, just great! Had the pleasure of meeting Eric, the owner, who has clearly spent time & effort creating a great atmosphere & training a special staff.
They offer a sampling serving tray of any 4 of their beers, still haven't decided which one I liked better.
Great to go somewhere that not only lives up to the reviews but really surpasses them.

Très belle découverte!! Tout nos plats étaient excellents, de l'entrée au dessert!! Ambiance chalet, le feu de camp extérieur, les jeux de tables mis à notre dispositions WOW !! Nous y retournerons un jeudi pour entendre le chansonnier. La propriétaire à pris le temps de discuter avec nous pour nous raconter l'histoire de l'Anorak, qu'elle belle personne!!
Excellents plats. Personnel sympathique.
Par contre, service très lent. Nous avions réservé pour un petit groupe & avons eu notre table avec 30 minutes de retard. Puis, ce fut très long pour commander & surtout pour recevoir nos plats. D'autres membres du groupe ont mentionné qu'il s'agit d'un problème récurrent. Il ne faut pas être pressé ni affamé pour aller à ce resto, qui vaut tout de même le détour pour la qualité de la nourriture & l'ambiance décontractée.

Ok, Eric, le proprio, est mon ami depuis le CÉGEP, j'ai passé vingt ans dans le sud des Etats-unis, au Texas, beaucoup de BBQ l'a bas.. C'était la première fois en octobre que j'avais la chance de visiter son restaurant. Je m'excuse, mais tout son BBQ est super bon. Peut-être trop south carolina pour moi, (plus sucree) que je ne suis pas, mais j'ai aimée tout ce que Eric a apporté à la table.
J'essaye d'être honnête, plus sucrée que j'aime en général mais tellement bon... Good job mon Eric!
Stopped off for lunch at Anorak was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Service & food were excellent, Had the Anorak burger which was delicious & their fries are awesome. My son had the fish & chips which was good but way too big for his appetite. Great selection of beers on tap with many international beers. Will definitely come back when I am in the area.
Super expérience à l'Anorak à Morin-Heights ! J'ai vraiment adoré l'ambiance, parfaite pour relaxer après une journée de ski! La bière était excellente, bien froide & savoureuse, & que dire du smash burger… tout simplement incroyable! 🤤 Clairement une adresse à ne pas manquer. J'y retourne sans hésiter !

Si j'avais pu mettre 10 étoiles je l'aurais fait ! Quel bel découverte, autant le service que le repas était excellent. Important il faut réserver, même pour 2 personnes !
Amazing find for dinner & recommend making a reservation which we did on our way there. We do not speak French which was not a problem at all. Everyone was welcoming & helpful from the menu to ordering a special drink that was not listed. The food was amazing & being from Carolina it was a bonus to hear Sweet Caroline. Would definitely recommend & come back to when visiting the area.
We were very impressed with the Roast Beef special that we had Sunday evening. Cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes gravy asparagus were a great accompaniment to the meat. My husband had no problem getting the outside cut with all the spices.
We looked over the menu & we will definitely be back.
