Meilleur restaurant indien / pakistanais sur le plateau ! L'ambiance est super , le service est top & les plats sont savoureux. Le butter chicken, mutter panner & le veggie korma sont nos coups de coeur.
Super expérience au Amber ce jeudi soir avec mes amies ! La nourriture était délicieuse, je recommande fortement le mutter paneer, le poulet tandoori & le cheeze naan. Le service était incroyable aussi , nous avons été super bien reçu par Valentina. Nous allons revenir !!

Très bon restaurant indien. Les plats sont copieux & bons. L'accueil est super. Le restaurant est très propre & aéré. Les toilettes sont super propres. Le service est rapide. Parking payant le long de la rue.
I believe Amber offers the best overall experience for Indian/Pakistani food. The decor is sleek, offering what appears to be a vast dining area. The service on my last 3 visits has been pleasant is all aspects. On my last two visits I ordered the lamb biryani along with the saag paneer & bartha. In my book you can judge the quality of the establishment by it's Biryani, Amber's biryani is delicious. The rice isn't oily, there are just enough nuts & dried fruit along with a well balanced spice mix. The lamb (a generous portion) is succulent The rest of the dishes were also well spiced although I prefer the eggplant to be more present in flavour. The service is great My favourite place & to boot my dining partner will only eat Indian/Pakistani food at Amber.
Service, atmosphere & food exceeded expectations. My wife & I are not fans of spicy food ... & Amber's spice level was perfect for us. Tasty yet not over spiced. Many unique dishes & ample portions. We will be back! Thank you for making us a great dinner!
It's a very cute place, especially during summer if you get to sit at the open window. I've been to this place twice & the food tasted differently between lunch & dinner. Beef, lamb dishes seemed to miss spice both times. Paneer in the spinach souse was delicious. Service during lunch was low level. Even though I was the only person it took me 15 minutes to get the waitress to get me a bill. Service during the evening was much nicer. A different lady (I think Francesca) was extremely helpful in describing dishes & her availability in the room.
Restaurant convivial, une ambiance agréable & on y mange gracieusement. Un grand merci à l'équipe de nuit, surtout â Hafsa (la propriétaire des lieux), très souriante er accueillante. J'y reviendrai prochainement. Â bientôt.

Quelle belle expérience nous avons eu à ce restaurant. Tout ce que nous avons pris était vraiment délicieux, frais & pleins de saveurs. Je vous recommande vivement ce restaurant. Il est dans mon top de restaurant indien à Montréal
Don't take the chicken tikka masala, it was really subpar & definitely not worth 18$. The sauce was too liquid, & the chicken was dry on the inside. The rice was mid. Other dishes like the chicken curry seemed ok. This place is trying to appear fancy, & the decoration is good, but the quality of the food is not at the adequate level for the price.
The service & the atmosphere was truly amazing. The front staff were friendly & accommodating, & were gladly able to respond to any of our questions. The service was fairly quick, even when their busy. I will recommend trying out the saag paneer with a side of rice, which was creamy & full of flavors. The bengun had bursting flavors, especially the smokey taste since it's made in the tandoor. In the meaty side, my absolute favorite were lamb korma, lamb karahi, saag shrimp & haleem beef. & lastly, our chicken biryani was well cooked, the combination of the spices, meat & the rice were perfectly balanced. I would highly recommend trying out this place. It is very affordable & all the dishes are well priced. My family & I enjoyed it a lot & we will come back again.

Troisième fois chez Amber ( & pourtant j'habite Ottawa ) & toujours une grande satisfaction. Je fais découvrir ce restaurant...à mes connaissances montréalaises ! !!
Le restaurant est vraiment beau & le service est très bien, mais nous avons été assez déçu du goût des plats. La quantité était correct, mais ça manquait vraiment de saveur, notamment pour les plats typiquement indiens comme le poulet tikka massala & le poulet au beurre... Assez fade & poulet bien trop cuit.
Cuisine plus que ordinaire. Viande (agneau) coriace & pleine de tirailles. Les sauces sont identiques, sucrées & très liquides, peu importe le plat choisi. Les entrées sont tout aussi ordinaires. Bref, ce resto, déjà fréquenté, a perdu de sa superbe au menu. Le service, gentil & avenant.
