I love this restaurant! The tandoor items are amazing & so was the nihari. The biryani could've used more flavour & the naans are a bit overpriced but honestly, i can't complain since Amber's ambiance & service are incredible.
It was my wife's birthday supper, & I surprised her by taking her to & Indian restaurant. I ordered the grillade land it's was over cooked , I had one piece & a half of the lamb & when we told the waitress she had the response , well you ate some !!!!! How am I suppose to taste it !!! & during the whole we were there not once did our glasses of water filled
Thought it was going to be a great evening was finally a real disappointment 🙁

La nourriture: incroyable, très bon & abordable. Le service: inexistant, condescendant. J'y suis allé à deux reprises, & les deux fois le staff n'était pas disponible pour nous, aucun bac de glace pour nos bouteilles, nous regarde lourdement quand on leur demande quelque chose...on se sent de trop. L'ambiance est correcte, l'éclairage est trop fort, un genre d'ambiance néon alors que ça pourrait facilement être tamisé, chaud. Overall, ça vaut la peine pour la nourriture & la formule apportez votre vin. On mange très bien pour le prix.
Nous avons adoré notre première expérience au Amber. Notre table avait été sélectionnée avec soin, le service était courtois, rapide & attentionné. La nourriture était très bonne. Nous allons y retourner!
C'est le meilleur restaurant indien que j'ai fais jusqu'à aujourd'hui! Leurs poulet au beurre & samosa sont incroyables. Ce n'est pas facile de servir un groupe de 14 personnes mais l'équipe d'amber ont fait ça à la perfection. Le service était sans précédent. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.
Located just west of St. Denis street on Rachel, Amber is a pleasant Indian restaurant with a warm ambiance & friendly staff. All the classic dishes are available...for our meal we had Dahl Soup (ok...could have been more flavorful), Chicken Tikka Boti (very good), Shrimp Biryani (very good), Butter Chicken (good...not as seasoned as we are used to), Aloo Gobi (good), Mutter Paneer (also good), Chana Masala (very good) & Garlic Naan (excellent). Overall we had a pleasant experience. Enjoy!
As a foody, it s really hard to find a place that hits all your taste bus. Amber surely did it. Deliciously divine...the taste still lingers in my mind, watering my mouth. That vindaloo lamb was an explosion softened by the delicacy of the butter chicken. But i do not regret the heat & sweat broght by that beef masala.
Nous avons adoré notre expérience au Amber. Nous étions un groupe de 40 personnes & ils nous ont accueilli les bras ouverts. Nourriture exceptionnelle. Un merci particulier à Molly, Aurore & Marco qui ont assuré le service durant la soirée.
Second time at amber, first time was amazing but the second not so much... service was non existent... no one filled up our waters once, no one cleaned up our plates after we ate, we needed to ask for the bill & take away container after waiting for an hour. We tried getting the waitresses attentions multiple times but they would ignore us. Would not go back unfortunately because the first time I loved my experience
We celebrated a great bday at Amber. Food & service was excellent. Every dish had a distinct taste & deep & delish flavours. The naan was light not heavy. The samosas too. The sauces with rich but not oily. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Oh & it is a byo
The staff was very nice. As for the food, we were disapointed. The chicken chosen (chicken tiika boti) was tasteless. Obviously had been cooked earlier on tandoor & left aside. It was quite cold & very dry. Not what was expected as the server indicated it was a specialty of the house. Again the staff was nice & the ambiance was good.

I took my parents there & all of the food was delicious. The service was warm & friendly. Highlights were the fish pakora, onion bhaji, lamb korma, butter chicken, karahi beef, & the sesame naan. Highly recommend!
