Not for large groups. Food was ok, eggs were rubbery.
Made reservations for a group of 15 but when we arrived the table was set for 13. One of the waitresses was refusing to sit us together. She wanted to give us a booth in her section & was saying that 4 people need to sit at the booth. After standing for 20 minutes we asked for 2 extra chairs & squeezed together.
We placed our breakfast orders, 6 people were served while the others watched & waited for their food. Food was getting cold so we started eating. The table next to us cleared & we asked if we can move the table so that the people seated at the corners can eat comfortably. The waitress from the other section was visibly upset but did it. She ruined our whole experience & because of her I would never go back. We were finishing our coffee after we paid our bill & she passed by & made a comment- are you still here? The rudeness of this person was just incredible.
On the other hand, our waitress tried to make the situation better, & the two people that were seated at the end got a discount for being mistreated. She is the reason I gave 2 stars for service otherwise it would be a zero.View more
Good spot for breakfast. Food & service are good although there are too many items on the menu. The place can get loud when it's full so difficult to carry on a conversation. Lots of families & young children so if you're looking for a more intimate or quiet place, probably avoid this place.View more
Been to various breakfast places before.
Never have I gotten the level of attention & care then multiple times at this place. Zholina is a gem, her attention is perfect at each visit. Not only that but the place & food are top notch.
Good job.View more
Waitress with flower in her hair was remarkably nice & beautiful, & food was quite good too. I strongly suggest sticking with the breakfast classics, it's what they excel at.
Strong +1 for Sri Lankan owners!View more
Very disappointed with the waitresses. We were having a family brunch with friends we didn't see in a long while & we ate there & we were there for around 1h30 & they started very rudingly pressing us to leave the restaurant even tho we weren't done with our coffees because « more clients were gonna come soon »… Here me out, I get it, costumers are packing up in the store & you need space but you could handle that better instead of actively kicking us out. We laid for our food & we're being respectful costumers so it just seems rude to kick a family brunch like that when we saw plenty of other table that weren't reserved right next to us empty… Apart from that, it was not the first time I went there & yet again, the food was pretty good, I enjoy my breakfasts there usually, just one bad experience that I hope won't happen again…View more
I've been a regular at A.M. Déjeuner but my recent visit left me disappointed. The portions were surprisingly small, with each plate appearing half empty. It feels like every time I go, the servings shrink a bit more. While the food is still flavorful, I left feeling unsatisfied & hungry. I hope they reconsider their portion sizes because I really enjoy the atmosphere & the menu. Until then, I may need to explore other breakfast options.View more
Went there a few months ago & really liked the food. Nice place, delicious casserole breakfast. Will for sure go back next time I'm in the area.View more
I can't rate the atmosphere as I ordered in, but it was absolutely delicious, they got every request perfect, & the next time I'll make sure to order 5 servings of bacon marmalade!!! On apple bread, was like eating breakfast made by a god.View more
Went here for the first time on a Friday morning so it wasn't too busy. The ambiance was nice & the food was fine. It's your typical breakfast food. But the service left a lot to be desired.
Our waitress completely ignored us after serving us. We had to flag down the hostess for some syrup. She forgot our coffee & only remembered once we caught her eye from across the room. & then we never got a refill after asking. By the time she remembered we were done eating & ready for the bill. I have never been to a breakfast place that doesn't refill at least once but here my cup was completely empty.
It would be one thing if it was busy but our waitress was having a full on social conversation with another table & serving every other table that asked her for one off things (glass of water, ketchup, etc) before us.
It was pretty disappointing.
UPDATE: I have been 2 more times since my initial review & it's still the same. You have to ask multiple times for coffee or water. The staff is friendly but the service is mediocre at best.View more
