Overall, reviews of Al Amine describe a neighborhood gem in Montreal with generous portions, fresh ingredients and affordable prices, where shawarma, shish taouk, lahmajoun, manakish and pizzas are repeatedly praised for flavor and quality. The service is warm, attentive and efficient, with staff friendly and welcoming and orders often ready quickly and correctly even at busy times. The atmosphere is casual and convivial, ideal for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with family or friends, and the restaurant is noted for a pleasant vibe and, when possible, a nice terrace at night. Consumers consistently highlight the care in preparation, the robust flavors, and the satisfying portions that feel well priced, contributing to a reliable go to option in Côte des Neiges. While some reviews point to occasional variability in daily execution or a rare issue with an item, the overall sentiment is that Al Amine delivers quality, consistency and good value.
Good shish taouk bowls, I would recommend & will be returning! Opening hours are great, good spot for takeout late at night. Thank you for the friendly service!

Si tu cherches un restaurant bon marché, c'est ici qu'il faut aller. On y revient quand même parce que quand t'as faim ça "fait la job". Mais sans plus.
This place has been our frequent for the last 20 years, since I was a student. Now, I come here with my husband & kids, & they love it every time! Always delicious & healthy food which is thoroughly prepared & nicely served. Polite & attentive staff. Thank you, Al Amine!

I've been going here for 4 or 5 years & I still love it! The shawarma is my absolute favorite, & the owner is really nice. They also have amazing manakish (pitas). Definitely worth a visit!
Staff was really nice! We had lahmajoun & kefta manaish & the fact that they were all dressed made it so much better. Lovely food, lovely people! Delicious overall:))
