Expérience très très agréable dans un lieu acceuillant! Ambiance plutôt décontractée (style plutôt cantine sans prétention), mais plats typiques savoureux. Les saveurs authentiques vous ferons oublier lea prix légèrement plus élevés pour un restaurant mexicain (prévoir entre 30-40$ par personne pour un repas + un cocktail). Vraiment bof! & cher pour ce que tu manges. La guacamole ne goûtait rien, les tacos étaient très ordinaires…. Nous n’y retournerons pas. Dommage, près de chez nous & nous aimons encourager les commerces du quartier, mais ce coup-ci, c’était la première & la dernière fois.View more
I had high expectations for this place & was disappointed. The guacamole is alright. The fish tacos are good but missing something & the steak tacos just ok, nothing special. Service was meh & the restaurant was more on the empty side. Sorry to say that I won't be going back.
Having heard about Tacos & Tortas quite a bit from both Facebook & Instagram, I've decided to try this charming little spot. The restaurant may lack colours & decorations, yet the food makes up for it in such a delicious & flavorful way. Along with superb service & a very friendly staff.
The menu is quite simple, with quite a few choices for tacos & tortas(Sandwiches) All of of their meals are loaded with a great deal of flavours, spices & a kick. The meals are presented in a simple yet very nice & casual way.
Everything is served quickly & very hot, while being freshly prepared to your taste.
Tonight we've decided to try both the tacos & the tortas, we couldn't decided which one we enjoyed more as both were truly outstanding.
To finish off our fantastic meal, we had the churros. A must have for dessert! They were tender, soft, crunchy. Again, perfect! Served with a delicious silky chocolate ganache & a so so Dulce de Leche sauce(Caramel) I would personally stick to chocolate.
Overall, this is a spot I would definitely go back to over & over again. May lack colour & decorations, surely doesn't lack ambiance, good music & outstanding food. I highly recommend it.
