Food is good. Not blow your mind good. Just good. But, it's overpriced. &, if you pay by card, the machine asks for a tip, of whatever amount, 10% or 15%, which is on TOP of the taxes. First of all, tip is on the base amount, you don't calculate tip on top of taxes. Second of all, I'm doing takeout, why am I asked to tip as if I'm going to a proper sit down restaurant with a waiter & proper tables, chairs & ambiance?View more
Cafe San Gennaro is in my top 3 cafe shops in Montreal. The coffee is great & the food is amazing. Their breakfast pizza is a standout. The cannoli's are one of the best in the city. Don't walk here, run.View more

One of the best Cortados I have ever had. Their coffee is top notch. & their apricot & fig bites are to die for. We went here almost every morning after getting bagels to get Cortados & bites on both our recent trips. Their sandwiches & pizza slices are top notch as well.View more

Je fais le tour des cafés italiens de Montréal, & cet endroit se retrouve dans mes favoris. Le macchiato était délicieux & leurs pizzas faites maison également. Je recommande fortement ! Aussi, l'ambiance est branchée & agréable. Bien que ce soit assez petit, il y a plusieurs choix de sièges (stools au comptoir, devant la fenêtre pour avoir une vue sur la rue, tables conventionnelles...)
