Friendly staff who were very attentive to my food allergies. Atmosphere is chill, warm, not too loud - it is cozy & would recommend it more for couples or a small group of friends but not for a large group like for a birthday celebration. & the food is absolutely mouthwatering! I have now been there twice & it has been consistently good. Would highly recommend this place.View more

Tried several dishes. Flavours were mostly good but seasoning was all over the place, as was the cuisson of both proteins & vegetables. Focaccia : the cheese spread was amazing, & the focaccia was tasty, fresh & airy Arctic char with crispy rice : fish was fresh, creamy citrusy sauce was great. Mix of textures was pleasing Mushrooms with poached egg & beurre brune: sauce was so salty as to be almost inedible. Otherwise good. Mushrooms were nice & tender, good buttery flavour Whelk fricasse in buttermilk sauce: sauce was very good, but whelk flavour was lost in sauce. Also the cuisson on the whelks varied greatly from piece to piece, with many way overcooked & rubbery Scallops in beurre blanc: unevenly sized scallops led to very uneven cuisson, although they were passably fresh so mostly had nice sweet flavour (although some were a little fishy). Cabbage was burned, many parts to a charcoal crisp, imparting unpleasant bitter taste & texture. Great sauce again. Grilled sweatbreads: again salt was problem. One of our diners almost stopped eating, as some pieces were so salty it hurt. Cuisson was ok. Sauce was great again. Celeriac was very good. Apple tart: crust & sauce were amazing. Dark chocolate ganache : everything was good. Textures & flavours both. Service was friendly & attentive. Overall, sauces were the star. The chefs were overworked, even with restaurant barely half full, & it showed in the consistently inconsistent cuisson.View more
10/10 date spot. Excellent small plates - really feels like a New York kitchen. Great starting off with a signature cocktail & then fun private import wine by the glass or bottle. We share everything - usually going with 3 starters & 2 mains & always getting a dessert. Our special occasion special spot. Love it.View more

Their food is delicious & perfectly seasoned! It was creative & innovative & we enjoyed everything we had ordered. We ordered 6 dishes total (including appetizers) & we were STUFFED. Their cocktails were also perfectly boozy & tasty (especially their take on manhattan). Would check out this place again if I come back to Montreal.View more
The menu isn't long, but the dishes reflect imagination & a focus on seasonal ingredients. I loved the main I had this evening: gnocchi with squash & leeks (posted a photo). It's almost full on a Wednesday at 18.30 - a good sign & well deserved.View more

My husband & I decided to eat at Marconi last minute yesterday. What a pleasant surprise! We sat at the bar & had great service. Each plate we took was beautiful & oh so delicious. We had the "everything" focaccia (12/10), tartare (10/10), mushrooms (10/10), scallops (8/10) & the pork (9/10). The waitress/bartender we had always had a warm smile on her face & the rest of the staff was very nice as well.

Un super restaurant, allez-y les yeux fermés! La cuisine est vraiment bonne, le principe de plat à partagé c’est top.
Les assiettes sont jolies, & les saveurs se marie à la perfection.
