We went there on Saturday, April 13. It was our first time, but with the amazing reviews & the BYOB, what can go wrong? Apparently a lot! (Maybe it was the 13?) So let's start: Parking: they have a lot behind the restaurant but it was dark & crowded so I parked on the side street, which was really ok, lots of space. Not a big deal. Entrance: We went in & waited like 10 minutes, but nobody ever came to ask us what we are there for. They went by, looked at us, but never came to see who we are. Eventually we went inside by ourselves & found our party seated at the table wondering why we are late. A bit annoying, but not a big deal either. At the table: There is a small card on the table with a barcode & from what I understood, they expect you to use your phone & get the menu from it. We don't like playing with our phones at dinner so we asked for a the menu, which they promptly provided. & then we learned there is no option "a la carte" but only "table d'hote" with a 4 service which includes entree, trou normand (a kind of frozen juice you eat with a spoon), main course & dessert. A bit annoying again but nothing major & really not a big deal, so we ordered & & we looked forward to enjoy the food. The food: I ordered the soup & the filet mignon. Soup was too salty & had no taste at all. I left it almost untouched (they never asked me why when they took away the plate). The filet, which I ordered medium, was overcooked & burned on the outside. I had to shave the outside to be able to eat some of it because I was hungry. & at 74$ this was a REALY BIG deal. My wife ordered the roasted cauliflower & the fish of the day. The cauliflower was okay but there was no sign or taste of the feta sauce & the fish was no more than eatable, but at 63$ it was really a let down. & this too was a REALY BIG deal. Also, somebody in our party doesn't eat dessert, but they had to pay for it anyway because there is no other option. I wouldn't have minded the cost, if you enjoy what you pay for. Not at this place. We had way better food at many other restaurants for less.
Fine dining at it's best in the region. Authentic & original dishes, Michelin stars quality, I have never been disappointed! Refreshing to eat dishes when you don't really know what to expect & having an explosion of deliciousness take over your pallet. Warm family-like atmosphere, Bring your wine resto which helps keep the bill reasonable, I have been multiple time & looking forward to my next visit! Great job Charleville!View more

My partner & I have been here twice & loved both experiences. They change the menu every few months & the chef uses local ingredients in the dishes which are fresh & delicious. I love that it's a bring your own wine too. Additionally, the staff is so kind & professional. We've left this resto very happy :)View more

La crème brûlée n'avait presque pas de crème, mais beaucoup de brûlé. Cependant, les entrées d'escargots & de foie gras torchon étaient délicieuses ainsi que le poisson du jour & le jarret d'agneau. Merci pour cette belle expérience, nous reviendrons.
