I recently dined here & it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting & calming, setting the perfect tone for our meal. Each piece was meticulously crafted, showcasing the freshest ingredients & expert technique. The variety of rolls & nigiri offered something for every palate, from classic favorites to inventive creations that pushed the boundaries of traditional sushi. Good food, fast & courteous service. The taste is there & I must come back again to check the consistency. But nice surprise so far. Need to improve on the water filling though. Verdict : give it a try. Came back again in April 2022 & still good. Came again in August 2023, still good. Tried again in January 2024. I think is going towards a 5**** soon. Honestly, not sure why this place has high reviews. The sushi were quite basic, the sushi rice was overcooked. For the quality, this food was overpriced. Atmosphere & service were nice, but as a Japanese food enthusiast, this is not authentic & my meal was a disappointment.Voir plus
The restaurant was kind enough to resolve our issue which is truly appreciated because we love the food there & other sushi places we've tried are far below this one. So changing my review! Holidays are always hectic & one bad service experience will not deter us in coming back to this place, best sushi in MTL. We've been regular clients for over a year & are coming all the way from West Island to get sushis at this restaurant. Tonight when arriving to pick up our order we were told it wasn't confirmed « on their end » & wouldn't be ready for another 1h30. My husband showed the confirmation email with the pick up time we had received (he was actually 10 min late to pick up the food) but it didn't change anything. Nothing was proposed to make up for this. Really disappointed of this customer service, we can't wait an extra 1h30 for no reason. & since we have to drive 45 min to get these sushis I guess we won't order there anymore, not knowing if our order is confirmed « on their end »..... This was supposed to be our treat for our last meal with family visiting from far away, disappointment is at an all time high.Voir plus

Hokkaido, Geisha, & K-ba were delicious. Takoyaki & kara-age were disappointing. Takoyaki did not need panko & had the texture of arancini. Fried chicken was bland & not crispy. The wasabi sauce was a nice touch though.Voir plus
I've been here many times but this is the first time i order takeout. The sushi tasted good, as usual, but the bag they used was some kind of thin recyclable bag that couldn't withstand the sharpness of the takeout boxes. After a while, the bag was torn apart as you can see in my picVoir plus
The place is small but the atmosphere was alright. The servie was excellent however the food was expensive for what it was. A definite downgrade from what it was years ago. The rolls were not rolled perfectly & the fish was pretty much average but is expensive.Voir plus

J’ai commandé pour apportez 6 makis Maiko: faits de goberge, tobiko, crevettes, & concombres, c’était frais fait & succulent! Le restaurant est joli & propre. J’ai aussi acheté à la SAQ une petite bouteille rose de Saké Sayuri Nigori crémeux & naturellement sucré, un délice!Voir plus
