Very Disappointed with the Service, took 45 minutes to get seated and another hour to have our order taken. Noticed that two couples that were behind us in line were served before us, the waiter actually came back to the table to ask us what we had ordered??? When our meal finally arrived, It had shrimp mixed with the rice, this could have been disastrous if someone had an allergy.
Food was Average, nothing special. I blame a lack of Personnel, Waiter was trying but over extended. Did not offer any compensation for the extreme delay and poor service.
Wow, quelle belle découverte ! La qualité de la nourriture, l'abondance des plats à prix plus que raisonnable, la qualité du service, la gentillesse du proprio, la propreté et l'aménagement des lieux, TOUT ÉTAIT A1 !! Le resto vient de gagner de nouveaux clients, je vous le recommande chaleureusement !!
I have been going to this chinese-sechuan restaurant for years, the service and the employees, are wonderful, you feel they want to make the customer happy, food is abundant and excellent, prices are extremely reasonable, this restaurant is family run , no mistake here, we come as a group for birthdays and other feasts , have never been disappointed.,everyone in our group loves the food served here. Not a noisy place, clean etc etc.
Vraiment le meilleur restaurant chinois à Laval. La nourriture y est excellente, et les portions plus que généreuse.
Le service est très courtois (apportez votre "anglais"!). Ils avaient l'air un peu débordé, mais ils ont tout fait pour que notre repas fut agréable.
À essayer, et ré-essayer!
Have been enjoying Ken's cooking here since January 2013. The restaurant is clean, with fabric beige coloured tablecloths. Ken always comes out of the kitchen to greet his customers and then returns to your table to make sure everything is just how you like it.
There are many "a la carte" dishes to choose from. The wonton soup is always hot with shrimp filled won tons. The hot and sour soup is good also. The egg rolls are full of pork and less cabbage with a pungent plum sauce. Last time we dined, we had sweet & and sour shrimp, comes with a very light batter coating, not to heavy., braised chicken in a pot, delicious. Also had the sesame chicken, and chicken fried rice. The dishes are generous, we are always four, and always have leftovers that they pack up for you. Prices are very reasonable. One dish I really like is the Cantonese noodles, I don't know how they make it, but it is better than others I've had most recently. Reservations not required and is also a BYOB. No uncorking fee, but I don't drink wine with Asian food. They have there own parking which makes things easier than going down to china town. Al al in all, strongly recommend to others.
Excellent restaurant! Ken greets you at the door, the waiter/ waitress are so kind and friendly and the food is delicious! We arrived later than our party, who had already ordered, we placed our order and all the food came at the same time and we didn't wait long. The food was fresh, piping hot and everyone enjoyed it. Taking the rest home also isn't a problem and they pack it for you (unlike some places that bring you the styrofoam to do it yourself).
Would eat there again for sure, price points are the same as other restos (ranging from 8.95-11.95/plate) and it's a BYOW! You can;t go wrong!
So. went there to meet a friend. Walked in and Ken greeted us at the door. I recognize him from another restaurant a few years back which I frequented all the time. Nice to see him. And I also recongnized the waiter (same circumstances).
About the food. it's as good or BETTER than downtown (I used to eat at VIP all the time).
Delicious...big portions...great service. Need I say more?

Walked in and was immediately greeted by a familiar face... The long-time waiter at Kam Shing on Decarie is now the owner of this restaurant. The food was excellent and at a great price. The service top notch as Ken and the waiter made sure that I was well served and happy with my meal. I will definitely be back.
Nourriture excellente, quantité incroyable pour le prix (un combo pour 2 avec assez pour 4 personnes!)... probablement le meilleur restaurant chinois dans les environs!
Comme le disais Richard L. La nourriture est excellente et le propriétaire est tres sympathique et peux faire des demandes spéciales. Cela fait plus de 4 ans que je frequente ce restaurant et jamais je n'ai été decu et nous y allons 1 fois par mois minimum a n'importe quelle heure de la journée.
Enfin un restaurant szechouannais ou on peut apporter notre VIN. La nourriture est excellente et le propriétaire est sympathique et peux faire des demandes spéciales sans faire d'histoire.

By far the best chinese food I have ever had. Always fresh and always delicious. I am from out of town but when I am in the Montreal area it is my first choice of places to have dinner. The service is excellent. The waiters have a great sense of humor and make you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend and hope everyone reading this takes the opportunity to stop in and give them your business! Personal favorites: Chicken and Brocolli, General Tao and their spring rolls are heavenly!!
Enfin un bon resto a Ste-Do! Mon mari et surtout moi, adorons les met chinois et surtout schezhuan. Mais depuis quelques annees, nous etions toujours un peu decu des restos que l'on frequentait. Sois la que la bouffe etait bien ordinaire ou pas de stationnement (Quartier Chinois), trop loin ou tres dispendieux. En tout cas, quand le Festin de Chine a ouvert, mon mari est arrete ramasser un menu. Apres une lecture, nous avons decide de l'essayer - WOW! TOUT EST BON!!! TOUT EST FRAIS! EXCELLENT SERVICE! GRAND STATIONNEMENT - on ne peut s'en passer. Si ce n'etais que de moi, j'y serais a toutes les semaines. Si vous aimez les mets epices, demander au serveur la sauce piquante speciale - vos papilles gustatives vous remercierons! Ca fait plusieurs semaines que nous y sommes alle et lors de mon retour de Toronto a la fin de la semaine c'est certain que c'est la que nous allons souper!
