polish(11) selection(3) pierogies(3) soup(3) grocery(3) deli(3) sandwich(3) melted(3)It's hard to find delicious Polish food in Montreal & this place is the real deal. Everything I have ever tried here has been superior in taste. I recommend their Polski Talerz & the Krokiety z miesem. My only complaint is that in the container containg the krokiety sauce must have been super hot because the lid was melted. Please be careful with melted plastic, as I'm sure people don't want to raise the risk of cancer by having melted plastic in their food. Let the sauce cool a bit or change to paper containers.Voir plus
Excellent Polish menu; perogies were fresh & home made, many varieties. They also sell packaged foods you cannot find elsewhere.Voir plus
Excellent polish deli with imported items & affordable prices. Tried their home-produce section & it was absolutely delicious.Voir plus
Definitely not the taste as in Poland (especially zhurek), but pretty decentVoir plus
There are some items on the menu which may not strike your as being first choice, but they should be. Hint: try the sandwich... You will thank me later. If it's Polish, & you need it, it will probably be here.Voir plus
fantastic store. As a half Polish man, I am very grateful for this shop. Best pierogies you can buy. Awesome selection of meats & sausages & the restaurant is great too.Voir plus
I'm very impressed by the "Meest" service provided by Jadwiga! It is an example of excellence!Voir plus
Great little gem in Mile-End. It is primarily a grocery store with a deli corner & sit down corner where you can order some Polish dishes. The food is good & homey. Expect lots of potatoes, cabbages & deli meats. We ordered 1/2 Polish Plate (Polski Talerz), sandwich (Kanapka), potato pancake with sour cream (Placki Ziemniaczane), & a slice of cherry cheesecake. A little more expensive than I thought, the little cheesecake piece was 6$ but it was not very big, still excellent in taste. Perfect type of comfort food for this snowy & cold weather. Very popular grocery store with great service.Voir plus
Nice place all things considered, but you need to know what to expect. Definitely Polish diaspora styled business. Food is great, selection is amazing given the footprint of the store. One star short of 5 because I think they're a little more expensive than other comparable places. The questions that Google asks about this store are irrelevant, this is not a restaurant but a small grocery with a couple of tables where you can consume your purchases.Voir plus
As a Slav, I can confirm this place is legit. I got the half size Polish plate, it was great. Kranski & the sauerkraut were the highlights, along with the salad. Delicious!Voir plus
Food is so delicious, authentic, filling. So full-filled! 😀Voir plus
Great place to sit down & enjoy polish food & a nice selection of goods to purchase.
Pierogies are really good.Voir plus
You must get the tripe soup. Hands down the best thing there. I shared the meal for 2 which was very good but the soup is the only must have IMO. Do not try to split meal 3 ways. It is just enough for 2.
I bought some of the frozen potato dumplings & it is easy to overcook so watch them like a hawk. I enjoyed them much more at the restaurant.Voir plus
Great location, they have true buckwheat ;)Voir plus
One of my favourite stores in Montreal, to shop for home or eat on the spot. Delicious home made pierogies, meat, cakes & pastries & all sorts of imported polish products. The homemade meals you can eat on the spot are yummy as well!Voir plus
