A small hole in the wall place. It was much smaller inside than I thought. The staff working greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. They were attentive & friendly. The food was good. Loved the mashed potatoes. Food came out quickly. Besides the place being old & needing some reno, it was pleasant experience. We walked out stuffed!View more
This is a little hole on the wall greasy spoon when you need to recover from a hangover or just need that comfort breakfast. The creation sandwich is a must, the mishmash plate is exactly what it sounds like & is awesome! There is new ownership but this place hasn't changed at all, this is an NDG secret, you gotta try it.View more

The famous Cosmo's, been around longer than I have. The decor could use some help but the ambiance & food is still very good & better priced than most of the other breakfast places! The cook was pleasant to talk with & made the breakfast very enjoyable. Dinner seating only.View more
This reminds of what Montreal is all about. Cozy, great vibes. Breakfast prices are like the good old days. You feel at home here. I really enjoyed my breakfast with the sunnyside up eggs in the bagel.View more
When my husband & I started dating, I told him I know a spot & took him here. He says that's when he knew I was the one!View more
I ate at Cosmos almost every day for years during the late 90s. I gradually went less & less often over the years around the same time that Tony was working his way into retirement. When Tony died, I stopped going. When I heard someone had bought the place, I had mixed feelings. Could new people really keep the place that I knew so well alive? I'm very happy to say that they did. The woman at the grill (Tony's spot) would have made Tony proud. I ordered my usual & it was just as I remembered (though maybe a bit smaller portions as I used to benefit from regular privileges like a free 3rd egg). In any case, lovely experience. Same neighbourhood vide. Same great breakfast, & the famous potatoes, just as good (though missing the ash from Tony's cigarettes). I'll be back soon for another taste of the good ol' days!View more
A very small, old & dirty place . The food is good but the service & the place itself are poor. Only for a 5 min rapid breakfastView more
