This used to be our regualr office 'go to' restaurant for lunch. Although the service is as friendly and fast as always, the food quality has dropped drastically over the past month or so. From pizza that looked as if it were torn apart then thrown back on my pate before being served to me, hamburgers taht were cooked to charred oblivion, to the anemic looking pale pink smoked meet that tastes as pale as the color. Looks and tastes as though it has been boiled all night. We have not gone back in quite some time.
menu qui offre des repas des brochetteries et deli..Beaucoup de choix..
Bonne nourriture pour le prix..Grosses portions..Ambiance tres familiale..
Notre serveur Andrew nous a offert un tres bon service...
Went there for the first time with a few coworkers, and it was an excellent experience. Most of my coworkers had been there several times before and based on my experience it wont be my last either. The food was great, I had the chicken teriyaki which was divine, the fillet mignon looked fantastic too. Overall great quality and great tasting food. Everyone was satisfied with the large portion platters. Service was genuine and welcoming. Definitely a must go to restaurant in Montreal!
Horrible experience every time. Lack of good customer service. We were given 3 menus when we were a party of 4 and we had to request for the menus. Other tables were served before us and their food came before ours even though we were there first and waited for a long time. We had trouble using coupons even though the terms and conditions were clearly written. The manager wouldn't come speak to us and avoided us.
Cetait vraiment mauvais! A eviter!!!!!
We eat at Barbie's all the time with our family. The food no matter what we select from the menu is always very good. We have a large family(8) and there is always someone who doesn't like something. At Barbie's everyone finds something they like. The wait staff is always friendly and the place is always welcoming. We go there often as it is decently priced...a great family restaurant. They have popcorn to start which is always a hit with the kids. They have coupons online which for those cost conscious like me it helps. A definitel thumbs up from all of our crew. They ask to go all the time.

As most have already mentioned, Barbie`s in Dorval is fantastic! The best out of the 4. They have AMAZING marinated chicken breast, filet mignon, steak, giant burgers, an item on the menu for everyone! The quality of food is very good, plates are well presented, everything is clean and the servers are friendly. It may not be the most romantic spot (as someone mentioned) but its a great place to eat, relax and enjoy a great meal! 10/10
Ambiance froide. Terrasse loin d etre invitante.
Reasonable prices, big portions, outdoor terrace is especially nice in summer. Very relaxing atmosphere
Barbie's has been a mainstay on Montreal's restaurant scene for more than 25 years, and this is the location that started off the chain which has now grown to four restaurants. The decor is more in tune with a sports bar, and appears not to have been renovated in 25 years.
Definitely not a date restaurant for a quiet romantic meal (though it's probably packed on Valentine's day, like most days), Barbie's is the ideal place to bring kids on the weekend or the senior hockey team for beer and a burger after the game. The place is noisy, packed, open late and features more giant plasma screens than Future Shop. If weather permits, eat outside on the terrasse - it's quieter.
The food is at best above average for standard fare such as burgers, souvlakis, steaks and club sandwiches. At Barbie's, gourmet cooking means adding mushrooms to a burger. Of course, it's reflected in the prices, which are very reasonable for the huge portions. Make sure to have a "2 for 1" coupon on hand, and dinner for two becomes a downright bargain (The coupon is actually for $10 off the second plate - be aware of that). Breakfasts are also copious at Barbie's, but the quality is not the best.
On the service side, most of the staff has been on hand for a long time and are top notch, especially with the owner greeting customers at the door and supervising the entire operation. They will try to accomodate you any way they can.
Barbie's is a great place for a quick inexpensive bite with friends, family or the kids. Just don't invite your new flame or your boss - you won't impress either.
