**August 2024 update** The server never gave us the salsa & chips, never asked if all was ok when we got our meals, never came back to the table & never refilled our glasses. Very, very poor service. The coated fries, you can not go lower than this. This is very poor quality food. That was the same a few months ago. We decided to give it another try. Will not return. **Previous review** Food is ok. We ordered the nacho, it was very ordinary & small. No refills on soft drinks, what a bummer 😕 The service was rushed & plates were thrown on the table.

Our family always tries to hit up a Taco joint whenever we visit different cities so of course when we past by this place we knew we had to hit it up! We joined them for dinner & it was mostly busy but getting a table was very quick. The waiter that served us was professional & polite. He even made my God daughter who was 11mos old smiled by entertaining her. We didn't know what to expect but the food was flavourful & portions were good for the price. Most of the dishes were served with a side of Spanish rice which tasted delicious. The smell of the sizzling chicken & shrimp fajitas when it came to the table was aromatic. We know what joint we're hitting up again when we return.
The Wednesday fajita special can't be beat! Delicious food for a great price. Very wide variety of cocktails available. All around solid option option for Mexican food.

Well, it had been years since I had been to this restaurant, so I wasn't expecting much. It's old, & the decor & lighting are lacking. As for the music, after an hour, I couldn't take it anymore, but that was expected lol. The service was a bit slow, but we were well served; the staff are smiling & courteous, & they respond to my requests without hassle! The flautas appetizer was delicious, the enchiladas & the margaritas were too, but I didn't like the tacos & the churros (I mean.....😳). I sent back the shrimp tacos; they didn't taste fresh. I switched to the crispy chicken tacos, but no appealing & no appetizing. Anywaaayyy maybe I'm being a bit difficult compared to other reviews, but I think there are better Mexican restaurants. At least the portions were good, & it's cheap, so yeah... okay but not okay 🤷🏼♀️
EN/ESP This specific Tres Amigos was bomb on the drinks & a bit disappointing on the food. Ordered birria tacos & the meat lacked flavor, they were not as tasty & crispy as the Tres Amigos Boucherville. Also on the chicken al pastor the flavor was not right, the chicken felt very plain & could not feel the pastor whatsoever. Despite that it was a good portion & friendly service.
I was most surprised by how nice this location is. Portions are generous, prices are fair, made me nostalgic of my mexican travels. Gringo-friendly, you can always ask for hot sauce .
