Place très sympa, service de qualité, mais casuel (on s'y sent comme à la maison). Nourriture goûteuse et petite bière brassée spécialement pour la place, parfaite pour une journée chaude.

A huge thank you to Dino and his team for making our event so special! Dino was incredibly attentive, caring, and accommodating from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. You can truly see the passion and dedication he puts into every detail. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I've been to this place multiple times before writing this review because I wanted to give it a real chance. The service has been noticeably dry on more than one visit, including a quiet weekday brunch where the place was barely busy. After my last visit, I read through other reviews and saw many people describing the same thing about inconsistency of service! And the food, while decent, isn't good enough to make up for it.

When you enter you feel a warm atmosphere that combines the old and the new. One waiter got upset very loudly at other waiters and it happened a couple of times, it distracted us from the quiet and comfortable setting. The menu is pretty diverse. We had a great waiter. We ordered the filet mignon and osso bucco. The filet mignon was not properly cooked. The waiter promptly offered complimentary wine glasses; a nice gesture. The drinks were nice. The deserts were a bit disappointing the cheese cake was very fluffy and had no density. The molten chocolate cake was not what you usually expect it was more of a mousse.

L'ambiance est chaleureuse et élégante, le personnel ainsi que les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse remarquable et la nourriture est tout simplement exceptionnelle. Nous y avons célébré notre mariage et tout a été parfait du début à la fin. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésitation, que ce soit pour un dîner, un souper ou l'organisation d'un événement spécial. Un immense merci à Galina et Oleg pour leur accueil, leur professionnalisme et leur attention aux détails. Nous garderons de merveilleux souvenirs de cette journée ! ❤?

Merveilleux diner old school au coeur d'Hochelaga Maisonneuve qui fait honneur à cette formule de restaurant. Le service est exceptionnel, la nourriture est délicieuse (mon burger préféré dans Hochelaga), les prix sont raisonnables. Tous les repas viennent avec une soupe du jour, ce qui est assez rare de nos jours !! On y va régulièrement, on espère que ce restaurant soit ouvert toute notre vie! Longue vie au Gerry's!

A Montréal staple. Excellent quality to price, service is top and always an evolving wine list. When you're not sure where to go, what to eat, there's no question .. it should be Holder.

We had a great experience at Holder. It was very busy when we went and a bit loud but we could still have an easy conversation at our table of two. The gazpacho was very good while the calamari was not our favorite. It was a bit rubbery. For entrees we had the beef cheek and the mussels. Both were very good, although some of the mussels were a bit gritty. I preferred the beef cheek. For dessert we had the chocolat crémeux and the sorbet trio. The chocolate was one of the best desserts I've ever had. The sorbet was extremely tart. The service was excellent and very professional. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our food.

Great steakhouse. The Caesar salad was crisp, with the perfect tang and just the right amount of Parmesan in the dressing. The calamari, foie gras, lamb shank, and beef tartare were all delicious. The others in my party ordered steaks and said they were cooked perfectly, accompanied by textbook-classic sauces.

This was a very enjoyable meal. Perfect for a solo traveler in Montreal. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is remarkably warm. I got plenty of time to savour my meal and take in the rich atmosphere of the restaurant and Rue Saint Denis.

Today I had dinner at Baton Rouge Decarie to celebrate my university graduation. Our waitress, who's name I sadly forgot to ask for, was super accommodating and pleasant. She really gave us great customer service and it made the celebration dinner all the more special. Not sure if she'll see this but if she does, I hope she knows our table was grateful for her service and that she deserved her slice of cake. Thank you for caring for us hon! Will def be returning :)

The restaurant is on the top of a building with a beautiful view over the city of Montreal, the Lawrence river and the bridges. The restaurant is revolving (turning slowly). The food is excellent and the staff is great. Attention: It is hard to find the entrance on the ground floor. The signs leading to the restaurant should be improved. Just ask for the way (up the elevators) at the reception desk at the entrance of the building.

Delicious oysters, high quality seafood, great service and overall beautiful place. You're given hot towels before eating as well. This place is high class and I love it! Edit: Thought I'd mention that 6 years later, I am still coming back to this place and still enjoying it! Very glad this place is still up and running.

Premièrement les portions sont généreuses! 😅 Soyez avertis ! 🙂 J'ai partagé l'entrée de rouleau à l'avocat avec sa petite sucrée et épicées aux noix d'acajou. Il y avait 6 bons morceaux dans l'assiette donc nous étions contents de partager ! Le goût était vraiment super bon ! Les avocats étaient crémeux, le croustillant de l'emballage n'était pas trop gras et la petite sauce avait un goût de revenez y ! J'ai pris en repas le poulet grillé et son coulis d'avocat. J'ai beaucoup aimé mon plat ! Le poulet n'était pas sec et on goûtait bien les différents goûts des différents éléments dans l'assiette. Un très bon mélange de saveurs! J'ai ensuite terminée avec la croustade que j'ai aussi partagée puisque la portion était généreuse ! Je l'ai trouvé bien dosé sur le sucre et vraiment très bonne ! Le service a été rapide et très courtois ! Notre serveuse était parfaite ! Les système d'attente avec la petite roulette qui vibre quand la table est prête fonctionne très bien et comme ça on peut attendre à l'extérieur si on le souhaite. Je recommande ce restaurant!
