Lovers of Japanese flavours, here is news that will interest you! After Kinoya Izakaya on Saint-Denis and Tsukuyomi Ramen in Mile-End, Bishop Street is preparing to welcome the third descendant of the Kinoya family on August 2nd. KINOYA KUSHI BAR will be Montreal's first restaurant dedicated to Kushikatsu: bites of meat, fish or vegetables on skewers, coated and fried. Often confused with tempura, Kushikatsu, native to Osaka, differs in the preparation of the dough, which requires stronger flour and breadcrumbs, and comes with a homemade sauce. With two older brothers who have already proven themselves in terms of cuisine and atmosphere, we are looking forward to trying this newcomer!
