2360 Rue Notre-Dame O, Montréal, H3J 1N4
Renowned pastry chef Patrice Demers and his business partner closed their wonderful boutique at the end of the summer of 2022. They were victims of their immense success and now wish to concentrate on other projects in order to have a better quality of life.
Manitoba
In May 2022, this Mile-Ex restaurant closed its doors. Serving only fresh and local food for more than 8 years, it was a place of passion for food and terroir. The shortage of staff and the increase in ingredients have taken their toll on this restaurant.

2661 Rue Notre-Dame O, Montréal, H3J 1N9
Le Fricot served classic Acadian dishes such as their famous lobster guédilles. They wanted to introduce this cuisine to Montrealers in a relaxed atmosphere and at an affordable price.

1877 Rue Atateken, Montréal, H2L 3L7
This pataterie was open since 1962 and served classic snacks such as fries, hot dogs, fish sticks, and hamburgers at low prices. Their motto was: "Never serve them anything you wouldn't eat yourself". They closed for family reasons.
1243 Rue Metcalfe, Montréal, H3B 2V5
Originally opened during the Roaring Twenties, this pub was in a hotel. In 2009, the pub opened after several renovations reminiscent of the 1970s. They served beautiful pub food and vintage cocktails. The end of the lease, the pandemic, and the construction on Metcalfe Street were the main reasons for their closure.

The market featuring local products was headed by Dany Bolduc in Saint-Henri, with wonderful ready-to-eat options. The reason for closing has not been published, but we're sure it's to collaborate on other projects that make Montreal's culinary scene shine.
6389 Boulevard St-Laurent, Montréal, H2S 3C3
The restaurant has recently (February 2023) reopened with new owners: Francis Duval and Geneviève Beaud. In 2022, Martin Juneau announced the complete closing of his pasta restaurant, so it is a nice surprise to see it open again. Don't hesitate to come back to enjoy good wines and homemade pasta.
Bowhead Pub
With a unique mission: to be the first pub serving plant-based dishes in Montreal, the Bowhead Pub closed in December 2022. The main reason for its closure was a difference of opinion between the owners.

Despite the great names behind this restaurant opening during the pandemic, it was not enough to keep this address going. We ate flavors from the Caspian Sea to the Caucasus.

Bistro Boris
In the summer, it was one of the most popular terraces in the city. A true garden in the heart of downtown, it was a break from the city. A modern bistro for 23 years, the rising cost of living and a shortage of staff led to the decision to close.
