Went there for a last minute Ladies night out. BYOW was appealing and menu seemed interesting. Plus, wanted to encourage local business. Yet the food was a disappointment. Service from waitresses could have been much better. Our party took oignon soup, gravlax and beef tartare. Soup was just ok. Gravlax, portion was small and supposed to come with “pain brioché“. Gaston, pain blanc à sandwich Gadoua moelleux is NOT pain brioché!! Not cool, nor trendy!! Tartare was flavourless ground beef with no spice and the pickles and capers no where to be found. I drowned it in Srirracha. Oh, but the unexpected fries that came with it were actually good, we all filled up on those. We didn’t take a chance on desert. Price point would be ok if the food was worth it. Masson needs that type of restaurant, but Gaston, you need to up your game if you want to be successful and stay.
