Pretty new ( less than 1 yr) on the West Island (old Java U). Staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. They really have no freezer so all food is market fresh and it shows. The chef (also an owner) takes a lot of pride in his work, everything we ordered was delicious. Seems that their menu changes (our 2nd visit) with what is in the market so their offerings (menu) do not get stale. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the size of their portions, especially the foie gras ! Can't wait to see their next menu , Went back just yesterday, My wife and I had the lamb shank braised, really fabulous ! Sometimes quality and service declines with time...not here Can't say enough good things , last night was a great dining experience

Yes its expensive, but the quality of the meat...dry aged is only surpassed at the Q downtown, If you appreciate prime aged beef and if its not cooked more than medium its a treat. The fish is top notch, fresh and prepared very well. Decor and ambiance are great for such a big place with such high ceilings, if you're in the lounge and Jazz is playing the mood can be wonderful. The staff is spectacular, they know their stuff and service is impecable. Its a shame that the menu had to be compromised somewhat due to shared ownership/agreement with Towne Hall. In only a few years it has become "The" high end standard for the West Island

This place knows the art of sushi, from incredible presentation to delicious flavour. No other West Island and most downtown sushi places really compete with this quality and finesse The specialty sushi is the highlight, if you have been a few times ask your server for new rolls not yet on the menu....empress and venus...excellent. In the 15-20 times we have visited we had slow service once, one of the chefs was ill that night and it was busy, quite understandable. Service has always made us feel like family.
