From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the lively and ever-so-kind chef and owner who recommended the perfect sequence of dishes for our meal. I can honestly say it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had - and I have never cared for sushi. The sushi you'll have here is unlike any other sushi restaurant: unique and full of flavour. Go for the specialty pieces and get the deep fried green tea ice cream - you won't regret it. The food was excellent, the service was quick and welcoming, and the price was beyond reasonable. I highly recommend Akita whether for a bigger party or a dinner for two.
