Best tzaziki sauce in the east end. Love this place for its souflakis and pastas.
Good. Not my first 5 guys experience (been to others). They cook your burger when you order it. Delicious! and the toppings are free. A bag of fries is really a BAG of fries and they let you refill your soft drink! I wouldn't call this place cheap, in fact it's probably among the most expensive fast food burgers I've ever had. Is it worth it? YES! Great, friendly service, and all the FREE peanuts you want while you wait for your burger to be cooked (perfectly!) We also loved the hot dog.
The best part of this place is the service. (Not just because they gave me free stuff when they first opened, but that helped!). The second best part of this place is the quality of the baked goods. I love the smell of fresh bagels and you can smell that when you walk in. It's just in a strange location but still very close to where I live. (I found it because my snow removal guy is almost next door)
I passed by the window on my way to 5 brothers next door and recognized Tom the waiter .. my favourite waiter from VIP .. so I went in. He recognized me too and had the chef prepare me a ginger and shallot lobster just the way he used to order for me at VIP. I was impressed at the quality and portion size. Their dim sum is delicious but a little expensive compared to Ruby Rouge downtown. This is an awesome place to eat asian food . Yummy
So. went there to meet a friend. Walked in and Ken greeted us at the door. I recognize him from another restaurant a few years back which I frequented all the time. Nice to see him. And I also recongnized the waiter (same circumstances). About the food. it's as good or BETTER than downtown (I used to eat at VIP all the time). Delicious...big portions...great service. Need I say more? BTW Ching means ROCK...and KEN, you ROCK!
