Airy, clean, fully accessible for wheelchair, and great service, Fresco provides a good choice for an Italian meal with family/friends/collegues. Menu lists the classics so we started with calamari and tomato/bocconcini entrées which were both perfect. Mains consisted of grilled steaks and liver. Both steaks, medium, had a wonderful grilled taste and eventhough 1 was tough, it was rectified. The liver, topped with a demi-glace and onions was perfect; moist, tender and a more-than-enough portion. We crowned the lunch with cappuccino and regular coffee. Roberto and his waitress (alas I didn't get her name) made this 1st visit most enjoyable and satisfying making us undoubtedly return customers.

First time at Hawg's for a birthday lunch with my parents. First, if you are in a wheelchair as I am the accessible entrance is *behind* the restaurant with a nice ramp and parking spot right next to it. I recommend that someone from your crowd goes inside from the front to alert them to open the door at the back as there is no way to open the door if it's closed. The premises are great, clean and an acceptable noise level. Seated, our waitress Chantal, did an amazing job of tending to our needs and her demeanour was most enjoyably friendly and efficient. The menu is varied as you can see online so we opted for the smoked meat platter and a surf/turf. Smoked meat was from Lester's thus you can't go wrong. Medium, it was tender, tasty and not greasy 1 bit. Surf/turf was made up by filet mignon and shrimps. The former could have been a tad less fibrous but the shrimps were simply divine. Dessert, well what can one say when faced withh "Chocolate Torture"...leave space as this is not the "Second Cup"-sized portion. All in all a first experience made pleasant by our waitress Chantal (Merci Chantal!) and the good food. Next time will probably be trying the breakfast.
