Let me start by saying that we had no clue about the restaurant Helena's in old Montreal . A friend recommended it tu us and we were not disappointed at all . We were greeted by the maitre 'd' I suppose , he was kind enough to give us a table next to the windows as we asked him to!!! The rest was full at the time we came in , the waiter was kind and recommended us a variety of plates wich we ended up choosing ourselves.. The portions were just good enough !! Very tasty food! The fish cooked to perfection .. The restaurant is loud but part of the ambiance ! All & all great experience .
