This is one of my favorites in Montreal. Food is certainly lovely! Delicious til the very last bite! My partner and i gave this a try from groupon.ca and what had was a truly wonderful experience. Very good service. Exceptional food. We went here one winter of 2013 and we just fell in love with the place, food, service and everything in it! Definitely recommending this place to friends!
went to this place twice on a different year. Nothing really special though the place is very trendy. it is an average american/contemporary place you could go to as a last minute option. Service wasn't really friendly and great. Food was so-so but not too bad. I would probably visit again but will be for a small catching up with my ladies and not to have a serious supper or wtv. PS: food r instagram and snapchat worthy but the taste..? sorry to break your heart but it isn't just phenomenal.
The cocktails here r the bomb. Food however is a fail. It gets really crowded especially in the summer. I was disappointed with my food but again, my partner and i enjoyed the cocktails almost the size of a fish bowl. That is undeniably delicious!
food wasnt bad. its like shabu shabu but the soup here has a different flavor and i loved it! the service wasnt bad and i enjoyed everything on my plate. my partner ordered a spicy soup and it was just as lovely as mine! we will probably visit the place again when the weather gets cooler.
My food was not really good at all though the service was very nice. The sangria tasted like water and liquor. we came in as a huge group and everyone else in the table had a huge amount of food left overs. definitely my first and last visit of the place.
i must admit i love the food. really really like the nice platter. food was very tasty. i like the ambiance and the way you had to eat. reminds me of my home country. my partner and i found this place via Groupon.ca and we gave it a try. It was definitely worth it! I will certainly recommend this to a friend.
I like this restaurant in terms of food. Regardless of the bad service we've been getting everytime, the food however is consistently delicious and nicely cooked. i just hope there is someone at the front desk who will greet customers and give them a seat. the place is too big and the queue of people waiting to be seated is just ridiculous.
Food was exceptional. A little over on the pricey side but hey, you get what you pay for. Service was very professional and the food from appetizer to dessert were magnificent! I went here with my partner once when the place had just opened and it was this very pleasant experience. I hope the second time we give it a try would still give us the same impression of the place. Otherwise, i will recommend this place to a friend!
My partner and i went to visit this place twice the same year and the food was exceptional. It was also the first time that we get to try honey wine. it was a product of quebec and it's delicious. the service was really nice, food was exceptional. plating was really good and i would definitely recommend this to a friend!
This place gets really packed so you better come in early. Drinks are very affordable and it is a nice place to sit and chill with your colleagues. Service isn't bad. One of my favorite hot spot after work!
When this place has just opened, food were served nicely. Waiters and waiteresses were very kind and polite. But overtime my partner and my family noticed a huge difference on the service especially the plates. Try coming early in the morning between 6 to 8am.. the mashed potatoes are a bright yellow. Try coming in around 11 onwards.. it looked overcooked.. idk if it's from constant reheating or over exposure of food. And not just that, the potatoes has some mixture of bacon in it. I would like to think that it's a clear cross contamination of food in the kitchen but hey, God knows. Moving on, the service also became fickle. The utensils even coffee mugs have some sip marks. I was so disgusted. Like how do you clean your plates and all that? Do you just rinse them in water and not actually use a soap? idk. i stopped going to this place because of these issues. My food served cold. Potatoes with bacon or sausage bits in it.. sip marks on my mug and some stains on the knife and spoon. Ugh.
Let me just say that this is the BEST BREAKFAST PLACE i've been to so far around the area of west island. Food wasn't greasy. Been here for 4 consecutive weekends with my family and the food quality and quantity was consistent! Reasonable price. Friendly service. Beautiful plating. Freshly blended smoothie and not just like any other breakfast place that would recommend you to try their "freshly squeezed juice" when obviously it was from a carton of juice from a grocery. You can taste the fiver from the freshly made smoothie. I super love their crepes and potatoes. Again, the meat, eggs.. WERE NIT GREASY/OILY. There was no food contamination or whatever of that sort bec the eggs tasted like they were made on a pan or griller made for eggs. The hams and sausages doesn't have any debris of other over fried food. Clean service. Clean and tasty food. This is my new favorite breakfast place. You might just wanna have to drive all the way to ile bizard but hey! It's worth it!
I am very impressed with the quick service and the tasty food this place had to offer. Reasonable price for such a healthy, huge plate of burger with a plate size mushroom in it that i actually almost craved for, for the next few weeks! My boyfriend and i were very happy and we did enjoy each and every bite of our meal. We went for a late supper around 9ish and the food was still delivered on our tables fresh and hot! Definitely coming back again! The side dish options were very good especially the salad that had a very luscious, distinct taste in it. Superb!
A different dining experience. My bf and i went here for our 6th monthsary celebration. Although there's heavy rain pouring outside, it even made our dining experience here a really memorable one. Here, you cook your own food. Your choice of dish are all raw and served in a plate, a hot boiling pot in front of you, it's up to you how you want them to be cooked. We had fun! Reasonable price but food quantity and quality? It is definitely worth every penny! We loved it! :)
My bf and i went here to check the FAMOUS churros. The last time i had a taste of a good one was when i was still back in my country and i was 8 y/o back then. Finally, the long wait was over because we found this place that's been getting a lot of compliments in the past 6 months. We went for a visit on a Saturday afternoon. We don't have a car and thinking that it would be on the way around any metro or a little walk from the metro.. we walked, got lost, walked, got lost til we completely found the place. It was tiny. A pastry shop and somewhat like a convenient store at the same time. We were greeted politely by a guy whom we believed, was the owner. He was very kind. Unfortunately, the churros he gave us was kinda old. I am 110% sure it's been sitting there for a good amount of hours and hopefully, not for days. It was hard as rock. Sure it looks like the real churros but we were disappointed with the taste; the rating of how good it was. We bought 6 originals and 6 dulce de leche. However, it is cheap. I think if it's fresh from the kitchen or fryer or oven, we would have appreciated that small, cheap thrill a little more. I don't think we are going to check this place out for another visit.
Food was good. Service was fantastic. A waiter comes very often to check on you if everything is okay or do you need something else. We were treated very well and one thing i would always come back for is that MUSSEL THINGY appetizer which I and my bf enjoyed the most. My gosh. It was very delicious! Carbonara is very creamy. They are not cheap in giving me those perfect saucy flavor on my dish. My bf had a pizza. Very home-made and baked well til the crust. Price was reasonable enough. Definitely a must-try place. Thumbs up!
Food was VERY VERY GOOD. Service was very fast. My bf and I tried here one time and we would definitely come back again another time. People who served us were friendly. We thanked the chef who made our dining experience really amazing. Resto size was fine. Good enough to fit 20 people i guess. Jamaican patties were so amazing i ordered 30 pieces to-go for my family to try and taste and they LOVED it! If you want something spicy, meat cooked tenderly, Jamaican patties oven-fresh, with a very reasonable price, YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE EXPERIENCE. PARFAIT!!! :)
We are actually eating now at sahib, my bf and i must say the food was good. I liked their dessert gulab jamoon as it was warm and soaked freshly on a sugar syrup! Most of the indian restaurants i tried with my bf.. Their gulab jamoon was cold and i didn't really appreciate it when it's cooked that way. Rice pudding too was nice and my all time favorite buttered chicken is definitely yummy! They prepared it really well even though it is a Sunday buffet like, right now. The fact that this place is packed of people only means the place has something to offer. Good prices, courteous servers. On the downside, the sizes for deliveries are quite small. Nevertheless, food is tasty! Service is appreciated!
