This place is very busy. The first impression was that with lots of Indian clientele, the food must be very good. It is extremely noisy and there seem to be lots of large groups all the time. Be prepared for no conversation during your meal. Tables are close together and packed row upon row, with nothing in-between, but room for the staff to move around. So don't go there expecting privacy or anything romantic. The food is good, sometimes very good, but not "Great", "spectacular" or "perfect", hence the 3 stars. The quality of the ingredients is obviously on the "economy" side of the spectrum. For example, we had two kinds of chicken in our meal and it was very dry in both entrees, including the butter chicken. It's an OK place, but don't let the number of Indians dining there fool you: it is not nearly the be-all, end-all of Indian Cuisine. You can find much better downtown Montreal, for example.
