Four of us went to the Lasalle Drive In on Monday July 25 for supper. I ordered a meat lovers sub, 10" with fries and sauce and a chocolate shake. The sub was well toasted and full of meat but seemed very salty. I ate half and was full. The fries were so so and you only dipped the fries in gravy, not the usual all covered style. The shake was the highlight. My sister had a regular steak sub which she didn't find exceptionally good. She also had a shake and said it was good. My niece had a souvlaki and said it wasn't the best but satisfying. Dave had a hot chicken and also commented that it was ok, if not the best ever. Not a stunning meal all round.

We ordered the other night and decided to try some non-Italian choices. The Tutti Carne sub was delicious. Lots of good ingredients on a pizza dough roll, excellent. The poutine was very good and the onion rings plentiful and super tasty. Certainly a future choice and most likely to explore some of the Italian selections on the menu. The small disappointment was the house mayo never arrived with the order, but delivery was so fast, it probably couldn't catch up.
