Great experience ! Staff was very courteous. Food was delicious. It is a good value for money (quantity/quality). Will definitely go back again!

The location is great. Food was good but overpriced considering the quantity, especially for the brunch menu. I also must say this is the worst client experience I have ever had in a French Restaurant in Montreal and while living in Lyon and Paris. It was supposed to be a nice business meeting. We had a reservation for 8 people. As soon as we got into the restaurant, we asked the hostess if we can sit on the terrace (which was not full at that time) instead of staying inside, she abruptly replied: ' we already have a table ready for you inside, just follow me', and I asked the same question again, the answer was quite the same with a bit of attitude: ' this table is the one which is ready for you, it is better ... It is supposed to rain today.' Hmm… What?! At that time, the restaurant was not full at all, she could have tried to arrange a new table for us according to our preference. But Anyway… Our table was located just right before the kitchen. It was noisy. Throughout the lunch, the waitress was very condescending to some of the guests (who were actually our client) and it was very unpleasant. I would not recommend this restaurant because of the bad service, most of the staff members are arrogant and also have a double standard regarding customer service, clients should be treated equally. Our experience at “Le Pois Penché” was one of the worst. As a French restaurant in Montreal, we have known better. We will not go to that place again.
