My favorite indian restaurant in the neighborhood. Food is always delicious and reasonably priced and service is really polite. Some of the waitresses may not be fluent English speakers but that is okay with me. I go to this restaurant every week... it has never disappointed me.

I've been to this restaurant twice for breakfast. Food was delicious, nicely decorated and portions were generous. I really felt like a lot of effort was put in preparing the food. The service was excellent - coffee and water were refilled regularly and the waitress was very polite. Nice atmosphere, cute place.

Love this restaurant. Sushis were amazing and service was excellent. Nice ambiance. Perfect for date night!

Excellent Vietnamese sandwiches in the area. My favorite is the regular one and it costs only $2.75. Don't forget to ask for your fidelity card (11th sandwich is free!).

I went to this restaurant last night for dinner for the second time. The first time, the food was excellent and my friend and i had seats at the bar. This time, we waited about 30 mins in the freezing cold. Although the food was just as good as I remembered (we had the shrimp pancake, octopus, veggie hot pot, grilled beef, chicken meatballs, japanese pancake and teriyaki burger), I was extremely disappointed with the service. Yes, I know there is a lineup out the door but the waiters/waitresses could at least give us the courtesy of serving our entrees BEFORE our mains and not all at the same time! One of us even received our appetizer while they were eating their main meal. We were four people crammed on a tiny table and there was literally no room on our table for all those dishes. The plates at Kazu are also ridiculously large for the space available for them.. I like the decoration on the plates but it really makes no sense to have such large plates on such small spaces. We had to empty one plate onto another so that we could fit all our food on the table. I found this extremely inconvenient and it showed a lack of organization in the kitchen. I do not plan on returning to Kazu for a while... There are cheaper alternatives in the area that are just as good and less annoying to eat at.. Sorry!

Overhyped. The burger is okay. The decor is not anything special. I was not impressed. I thought the burger and fries were actually very greasy. I don't think I would go back unless I was in the area and wanted a quick fix.

I commented on this restaurant about 2 years ago and only had nice things to say about the food and the price. Since the renovations, I have noticed that it takes much longer for the food to get ready (there were only 3 couples in the restaurant) and the sauces are much thinner. Seems to me like they are watering down their sauces. It's a real shame because I was very excited about the renovations and thought it would lead to an overall improvement. Sure, the restaurant looks better now but the food doesn't deliver.

TRUE. I thought I didn't even like Indian food before trying this restaurant. And now it's one of my favorites. It's dumpy though... Which is even fun sometimes ;-)

DELICIOUS food, VERY generous portions, reasonable prices. The best gyros in Montreal without a doubt. If you can bear with the mediocre service, try this place out. you will not be disappointed!
