We were at Mikes for a midday meal on a Saturday. I think the other people I was with enjoyed their meals, however I did not. I ordered an omelette which I found flat and rubbery. My husband enjoyed most of his large meal except for the French toast which he also found rubbery. The regular eggs he had were very good. As well, the cubed potatoes (seemed like a frozen product) that came with my meal was not very good. They were bland, no apparent seasoning or flavour. My husband ate his potatoes with the maple syrup that accompanied his main meal, but otherwise he says he would not have eaten them either. I left most of my meal behind. The service was friendly, but it was difficult to get the waitstaff's attention even though the restaurant was almost empty.
