Visited the other location and was blown away by the savoury Thali dish, a platter with a choixe of three cury meat servings. A sure bet for a tight budget, a couple can stuff themselves with two samosas in extra, and still pay under $20 with yaxws and tip.

The best brunch for a post-celebratory evening. Simon, our short-order cook, starts our brekkie as soon as he sees us walk in the door. We go for the hardcore breakfast: two overeasy eggs, bacon, Knackwürst sausage, dijon, authentic Montreal bagel, crwam cheese, hash browns and coffee "à volonté" with fresh squeezed OJ. with taxes and tip, a couplw eats for about $25. Satiated!!!

Their boeuf au jus had me transfixed on the dish. Awesome wine list. Overall very good. Bring a good credit balance on your Visa or Mastercard.

The pub food is surprisingly very good. Headed by Mexican chef Dimitri, this excellent brewpub offers an inexpensive menu of tapas style Mexican eats as well as North American favourites. The houae guacamole ia sublime as well as the quesadillas.

Comfort cuisine that pairs well with a limited budget. Their "Vladimir" poutine is the standard against which all poutines can be measured. And this location is walking distance from amazing pubs to complete an evening of gastric excess.

You get what you pay for, and this is a downtown fixture for the sashim-i or futomaki-lover in you. Reserve if you expect a table in the Thu-Sun corridor, especially during the high season (i.e. summer/autumn). Expect more American traffic with recent declines in the Canadian dollar. Nice central location with good service. Enjoyed the susji/sashimi/maki "Boat Platter."

The entertaining teppanyaki chefs (mostly Chinese and Vietnamese) is awesome funny, and the quality of the food is bang on. The Shogun experience is one of the senses, no doubt, but the teppanyaki grills allow for a social experience that only enhances the whole. Prices are reasonable, e.g. $80-100 for a couple having sushi à la carte, a teppanyaki entrée and a scalding hot carafe of saké.

Awesome chicken. Awesome poutine. Awesome prices. All prices inclyde tax, by the way. There's a bring-your-own-food bar across the street so you can phone your order ahead or have one of your buddies hop across the street to order and pick up food while you secure a table and a couple od pitchers.
