Large, decent decor Pleasant staff Wide variety, including non-Asian dishes (i.e., family-friendly). Vegetarian section, a nice feature (which compensates for the pigs' feet dishes). But stay away from the hypersalted spring rolls. Great value overall.
No credit cards accepted. Very little English service available. The menu available was entirely in French. How visitor-friendly is that? The special prominently advertised on a sandwich board out front, on a Sunday, was only available during the week. There are a number of other meal combination specials available, however. I ordered Fish'n'Frites. Excellent crispy fish, generously portioned, with a nice little side salad (although more like a garnish). But the tartar sauce was bland (Belgian-style?). The signature chips, while wonderfully crispy and light, were too salty. When served with the signature mayonnaise, though, it was salty enough to make one choke. It's a peeve of mine, but my companion agreed. Table payment, even though clearly indicated, was not forthcoming, so I had to pay at the counter. I will give them another chance, when management is on-premises, in case of negligence.
