En effet, c'est comme autrefois : *très* gras!! Notre serveur pouvait à peine parler français, chose inacceptable de nos jours. Le service était très moyen et assez brusque. Mais j'avais besoin d'essayer l'endroit. C'est fait, mais je répéterai pas l'expérience. Pas plus que je ne la recommanderai. -- True, it is just as it used to be : *very* greasy!! Our waiter could barely speak French, which I find unacceptable nowadays. Service was okay, abeit'rough'. I had to try this place out - but will never repeat the experience, nor recommend it.

Excellente cuisine éthiopienne dans une atmosphère simple et détendue. Si vous avez très faim, **arrivez tôt** car les mets sont cuisinés par une seule dame et servis suivant l'ordre des commandes. Autrement dit, si quatre clients ont commandés avant vous, vous risquez fort d'attendre votre repas pendant plus d'une heure. (Apportez-vous de la bière...) Cela dit, je peux vous assurer que votre attente sera toujours récompensée par un repas exquis! Longue vie à ce petit'trou dans le mur', qui est l'un de mes restaurants préférés de Montréal. Je vous le recommande vivement! -- Excellent Ethiopian cuisine in a simple and relaxed atmosphere. If you are very hungry, **arrive early** because the dishes are cooked by only one lady, and served in the order of arrival. In other words, if four clients have ordered before you, you stand a very high chance to be fed more than one hour later. (Bring some beer...) However, rest assured that your wait will be rewarded by a superb meal! Long live this small'hole-in-the-wall'. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Montréal, and I will never recommend it too strongly.

I was a total fan of Bombay Mahal, on Jean-Talon, until I discovered India Beau Village! Such great food! The portions are larger than those at Bombay Mahal and the flavours just as refined, if not more. This is where we go now. Bonus : never a huge line ups at the door, like at Bombay Mahal, and a much less noisy place. Highly recommended!
