The best Asian restaurant in Laval. It's a buffet 'style' but not the kind where you walk up to the counter and fill up your plate. You order from a menu and they bring it to freshly cooked. Fixed price around 25$/head but very much worth it.
Everything on the menu is great
- Hunan dumplings
- Seafood mix
- Anything shrimp :)
Make sure you don't over-order (may be charged extra although not mentioned on the menu) and tell the waiter to bring smaller portions if you sample a bit of everything.
Finish your meal with a nice 'Oulong' tea pot (not sure about the spelling)
Came to this resto a couple of times now. Always really good food & BYOW. Average price per head (table d'hote) is 22-23$ before T&T.
You honestly can't go wrong with the pad thai or mixed grills. Never had the sushi so can't comment on that.
Try to reserve the tatami tables on the lower floors, makes it a nice Japanese experience.
Really nice mixture of good sushi & thai food. Very reasonnably priced & Excellent service.
My favorite Thai BYOW. Red Curry sauce is really good. Ideal for groups, make sure you reserve before.
Best Lahmajoun in the city! Enjoy with a nice Ayran!
A nice change of the everyday culinary experience.
We took a shared platter and enjoyed eating with the 'crepe' like bread :)
Really cool to try if you're in the mood for something different.
Best Syrian Restaurant in town.
Make sure you try one of their syrian specialties like the cherry kabab or the friké.
Best breakfast place in QC by far. Quality/Price is excellent.
Highly recommend for your breakfast needs :)
Pls note, i always go to the Samson location
The best lebanese/armenian restaurant. You can order in 2 ways
1- Everybody order their plate and eats it.
2- You can order 'mezza' style: multiple entrées & meals and everyone shares
If you choose option 1:
Make sure you try the following:
A. Soujouk (Best in QC)
B. Fattouch Salad (Best in QC)
C. Dochka.. simple & excellent
D. Kebbe nayé
E. Basterma roll entrée.. really original & good
Get the Kafta whichever style u like best.. Shish Taouk is also excellent.
The best of the 2 gibby's if you ask me! Perfect from begining to end and although a bit pricey... It's worth every penny!
I'm a big fan of greek food, especially these seafood places.
The seafood is definitely something to try.. the octopus & calamari are really good. The problem @ Elounda is that you couldn't order mixed platters (seafood or meat.)
We also ordered the fried zuchinis/eggplant (elounda special) which is a classic @ any good greek place i go to. I found it was more oily/greasy than it should have been... but it came with a bit of saganaki cheese & tzatziki.. which is different than other places.
In the end, the place is 'ok', not worth the coin.
We were @ moishes for a tête-à-tête on a sunday evening. The food was great and the service was good. I felt however that they were rushing you out. Between taking the order and receiving the steak, there was a 10-15 minute delay.. which is typical of a more casual restaurant. The steak however was very good.
For a sunday night, the place was packed and quite loud. So if u ask me, not for romantic evening.
Try it for yourselves and let me know
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. It 2nd in line vs my favorite Indian resto. Honestly, everything is good! Not recommended for a romantic evening or for the decor... highly recommended for people who enjoy excellent authentic home-made style Indian food! Also, for vegetarians, a lot of good plates.
We were 13 getting served. The service was slow at the begining and then picked up the pace. By the end of the night, we were drinking with the waiters :D
Great place for good asian food & sushi, both are pretty good. One of the best asian byow in the city. Good quality/quantity/price ratio.
I go to Dev all the time! Best Butter chicken, samosas, korma in town! Food is homemade style and is always served with love!
Keep up the good work!
was there for 3 bday celebration on a Saturday night. The place was packed & we still got excellent service! The best Italian food I've had in a long time ( I had pasta, highly recommended!, others had the veal, which I obviously had to taste and also very recommended :) make sure you also get either the antipasto or mussel entrée! The waitress was really good to us that we had to give her a piece of both bday cakes :)
All in all,
Go for excellent setvice, home made-authentic Italian cuisine and... Forget about it!
Really good breakfast place. A lot of choices and good fresh ingredients. It's my 2nd favorite in laval.
1) has very good asian food
2) is a BYOW
3) Excellent service
4) Has a perfect quality/price ratio.
5) Is usually always packed on the week-ends
Excellent restaurant if you wanna eat good with your better half, a bunch of your friends, family etc.
