As a Greek party place on Saturday night, it's ideal. The food is tasty and greasy, the portions are good, the people are festive, and the music loud with dancing in the middle of it all. The prices are a little high for Greek food, and the service gets bogged down on busy nights, but you're there to enjoy the atmosphere, not demand a 5 star dining experience. Overall it's a great place, reserved more for the occasional celebration rather than a quiet night out.
This is one of the latest and better restaurants on Laurier; Sushi and Vietnamese/Thai fusion. The ambience is excellent, characterized by very trendy decor that is very warm. Dark woods and thick tablecloths with a cool layout makes this place very popular. It's also BYOW. The restaurant is a victim of its own success, which is why there are some negative reviews about this place. The food is outstanding and the prices USED to be low, but since business has been good they have been jacking up the prices by > $5 a dish, which means you now need $60 for two people to eat, which has upset a lot of regulars. If you can get past that, the food is outstanding and the service excellent. All around one of the better restaurants in the Plateau/Mile End.
