I've been a fan of Ye Olde Orchard, going back to my Monkland days, and was thrilled when they opened in Pointe-Claire! The atmosphere is cozy, especially in the winter if you are lucky to snag a spot by the fire. In warmer temperatures, it's a nice bonus to be able to sit outside. They have a genuine pub menu, with a few delicious surprises, The Sri Lankan roll & samosa is a favorite appetizer choice, followed by Sri Lankan curry (Veggie, Chicken, Lamb, or Shrimp). Ask for the level of spiciness your palette can handle - they can make it as fiery as you want. The Fish & Chips is very good, as well their stew. It's a great spot to sit back with a frothy pint, and enjoy a delicious meal!
