Heard of this place almost 20 years ago but never visited until last night after a Just For Laughs Festival show. There was a line with about 3 parties ahead of us but we only waited 10 minutes for a seat indoors. As for seat outdoors on the terrace the bouncer said "forget about it", it was really full. I had the Kamikaze poutine which was quite spicy and good. The two other people with me also enjoyed their poutines. Two of us had the regular size which was more than enough. I didn't find that the large size was worth the 50% price premium. Price for 3 of us including tip & taxes was $50 (no alcohol). I've had better poutine in the West Island (Montreal Hot Dog Station in Pierrefonds) but the massive variety of poutine topping options at the Banquise was impressive. Definitely worth a try.

Definitely at the top of my list for Indian food. Quality is excellent, the lamb was awesome! Went for supper and it is dimly lit, fairly quiet and the waiter doesn't pester you, so I'd recommend it for a romantic date. Cost for 3 of us (no alcohol) including tip and taxes was around $80 and we brought leftovers home. Very satisfied. Will be back!

Sadly, I've only been here about a dozen occasions. I love trying new restaurants which takes up my eat-out time. (Sorry I've been cheating on you GiGi). I've only had the pizza and each and every time it has been perfect. Service is friendly. Note that this is a very small restaurant and if you decide to eat in, instead of takeout then you will quickly find that the booths are not made for plus-size people. So my suggestion for a sunny day would be to pick up your pizza and walk a couple minutes to St Joachim church which overlooks Lac St Louis and make a picnic out of it.
