This was my third time at Jardin Nelson, and unfortunately my last as I really enjoy the courtyard setting. The food quality has gone down dramatically since my last visit three years ago. The calamari appetizer was awful; 14$ for approximately 10 pieces of undercooked and soggy calamari. The fermiere crepe, which consists of veal, onion, mushroom and white wine bechamel for 17$ was tasteless. My friends had the american pizza and the duck crepe; which were better than the fermiere crepe and calamari, but definitely not worth the prices charged. Presentation equally disappointing, service average.

Giant chicken wings, no I mean GIANT CHICKEN WINGS :O ! They are huge and there's at least 6 different kinds. I was never a fan of wings until I tried these, best late night after work beer and snack. Excellent variety of beer on tap. Service kind of slow, but mostly because the place is so busy and they are not enough staff. Go for the wings and beer.

Best flat bread pizza ever! I haven't tried them all but if you do end up there and love meat like I do, you must try the thai grill pizza. They also have hoegaarden on tap, what more could I ask for? Service isn't great, waiters/waitresses slow, inexperienced....but the great pizza makes up for it.

The girl working there asked me if it was my first time, I said yes and she said it won't be your last. I laughed, of course she'd say that. Best part is she was right. If I lived near this place, I'd probably be huge. Caramel fleur de sel is a must!! Cutest decor, what a great concept!

Good byow sushi. Caterpillar is excellent. They also deliver which is cool when you're craving good sushi and don't want overpriced delivery sushi. I'd say uchi's sushi is just as good and as fresh, maybe slighly less innovative. Nice little booths, especially for a date, ask for one when you reserve. Good bet, service never fails

Looking for a good tartare, go there. Wouldn't recommend it for anything else.

This place is ok, you certainly don't go there for the food. This is a I'm hungry, it's late, I want to go out and I need a drink type of place. The drinks are excellent, the barmaid knows what she's doing. The food is ok. Tried the calamari and the procuitto pizza. Calamari was slightly over cooked, nothing special, and the pizza was average. The service was slow both times I've been there. The staff hangs around talking, having fun instead of focusing on the customers. I would have had several more drinks if the waitress wouldn't have been so slow at coming back to our table. Nice concept, definetly some room for improvement.

My favorite french restaurant in montreal by far, and it's a bring your own wine. Must have been here over 15 times in the past 5 years. Reservations a must, the restaurant is small and cozy and does get very noisy. Besides this, the food is excellent, best rack of lamb I've ever had. Escargot with blue cheese and caramelized apples is a must, so is the tia maria cheesecake. Nothing on this menu will leave you dissapointed.
