We've been to Aryana's twice since we heard about it a month ago, and we will definitely become regulars. It was recommended by the son of the owners who was at a clinic where my sister works, and hearing him talk passionately about his mom's cooking prompted my sister to want to try it. So we did, and now we are hooked! It's a tiny little space in a strip mall on Sources, but clean and inviting, and you bring your own wine. Both times we were served by one of the owners' sons, a wonderful young man with a big smile, so patient and willing to explain each dish on the menu, perfectly fluent in English and French. This is a family restaurant, a nice couple with their sons run it. The food was so tasty and perfectly seasoned, fresh and flavourful and portions were a good size. We shared many appetizers, loved them all but the pumpkin was awesome and so were the dumplings. Ladies had a lamb dish from the list of Afghan specialties and men had the combination kebabs. We all cleaned our plates! I wrote this review because this gem of a restaurant deserves it, but I'm afraid that when word gets out, it'll be too crowded to get a table! It's our greatest find in a while, the food, service and price are just right!
