I've been to Golden Curry House a few times. The best thing on the menu is the samosas, they were fresh and hot and are the best samosas I've ever eaten. The price is extremely reasonable for the portion size and quality of the food. Not the best Indian food I've ever had but nonetheless very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very small but has a nice, quiet atmosphere.

I come to Devi at least once every couple weeks and it has never failed to satisfy. The garlic naan is amazing, fresh out of the oven and always very tasty. Every time I go I get the Chicken Chettinad (I ask them to make it spicy) and it's absolutely delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian options including a really good paneer mahkani. Its a little pricier but the food and portions are of good value. The waitstaff is always very friendy and attentive. I've never had to wait long for anything. Also the restaurant itself has a warm ambience and is very intimate. The lanterns are beautiful and add a great touch to the atmosphere. Overall, Devi is an amazing restaurant, from the food to the servers, and is most likely my favorite restaurant in Montreal.

I went to Wok Cafe looking for some cheap Chinese food which is exactly what I got. The dumplings are non-authentic, the udon soup was bland, their general tao chicken was completely drenched in sauce (should've been called general tao soup), the rice was dry and was slightly overcooked and there was hardly any chicken in the chicken thai style. The wait staff were attentive but not kind in any way, if anything, they were almost impatient. The only good thing was that the food came promptly. The food was less than average and the service was also mediocre. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
