Last night we were at La Prunelle for a birthday celebration, unfortunately this restaurant was able to partly ruin our evening. First, the service was EXTREMELY slow and uncaring. We waited about 30 minutes to be served our main dish, unfortunately not one nor two or three plates had to be returned but the 4 plates were returned because the food was COLD (I had ordered a Risotto, how can you serve a cold risotto unless the food is prepared in advance and that it is warmed up in a microwave and that the``chef``` forgot to warm it !!! or was it the chef's night off, maybe it was the night off of all the responsible people, the owner, the chef....) After waiting 20 minutes, 3 of the 4 plates were served, as for my Risotto, I had to wait another 10 minutes; did we get any explanation and excuse for this, NO. It is very regrettable because the food tasted good, but how can you enjoy it completely when you have to wait twice to get your main dish. The second waitress offered us a $20 reduction on our bill (this equals about 10%), we accepted it, not because the compensation was adequate, but because we wanted to leave, but it still does not compensate for ruining part of our evening. Luckily our wine was very good, ....Oh..I forgot, it is bring your own wine!!!!
