Love this place for a great glass of beer, some fish and chips and laughs with friends. Great live music if you happen to hit on a fun folksy duo (forget their name...). Food not spectacular, but if you're hungry, it'll fill you up and you always leave with a smile on your face. Our waitress was a bit on the cranky side, though.

Liked the coffee very much but the sandwich was dry and tasteless. Cute little café has a lot of potential, but it needs a cook that can assemble a sandwich.

Fast, friendly service, unlimited tea and great-tasting dishes. Love the shrimp & vegetables, beef chow mein and spicy chicken & rice noodles. Best place in Chinatown by a long shot!!

Waited in line for one hour because of the buzz that this resto had been generating. I had a shrimp burger that was good but not as great as everyone seems to think. I was squished into a tiny corner, and my server was impatient with me and the diners beside me. The air was 'greasy' and it was very claustrophobic. Quite frankly, I was disappointed and very let down. Wasted an entire hour of my life on mediocre food and poor service. Can't understand what all the hype is about.

Not the first or last time I've eaten at Gibby's. This steakhouse deserves a lot of praise. The rib steak is the best in the city. Forget the trendy hot-spot steak houses....Gibby's does it the best because they've been around forever. A must try; the shrimp bisque! The service is impeccable and your waiter will be extremely knowledgeable on wines. You'll get a lovely salad with your meal as well as a loaf of hot bread, pickles, a bowl of bacon bits and ask for the herbed cottage cheese...only regulars know about it because it's not automatically put on the table unless you ask.

Not very impressed with the food. Had to send my eggs back 2 times. The smoothies were good, but there are way too many kids in there. Reccommend this as a family place, but it lacks in ambience and relaxing atmosphere. Too cute and the menu was confusing.

Stopped in this tiny pie shop one day and was so surprised at how good their food is! I bought a bunch of pies home and my roommates devoured them in seconds. Incredibly fresh and flaky crust, delicious, flavourful fillings...YUM!!!
