I cannot believe how the quality of the food has gone way down. My friend and I were very disappointed. The maki were like those you buy at IGA. My salmon was way way overcooked.. The headcount was about 10-12. Not a very good sign for a Friday evening. I used to love this restaurant. Unfortunately, won't be going back.
The big problem with this restaurant is the service. I waited about two hours before getting my soup. When I asked the owner/chef/waiter(yes one person does it all), "Why the long wait?" He replied, "It is written in the newspaper that service is long at my restaurnt. Food is made fresh." When I got my food it was not very hot (lukewarm at best). I had ordered Ennio's house special pasta. The salad was, believe it or not, Iceberg which was drenched in oil & vinegar. My pasta plate was overflowing with a very liquid white sauce. The huge portion reminded me of leftovers I put away. While the past itself was al dente, the presentation was not very appetizing. I could not understand why the place was full. The owner/chef/waiter looked impatient and overwhelmed. Of course, I did not have any dessert. I wanted a coffee. However I was told they do not serve cappucino. No cappucino! Come on.
