This is a new resto in this location, decor is very nice and trendy. I ordered the Zibo salad and i thought it was excellent. Perfect combination and flavors were great. My friend had the pizza, it looked a little oily, but apparently the taste was good. Only downfall was that service was extremely slow, and the resto wasn't even full or that busy.
Very big portions, if you order from the table d'hote the prices are very reasonable. Service was friendly and attentive.
This resto is to be avoided! Awful service, actually no service. Food was whatever! Definately better restos in the area with asian food!
Went to this resto on a recommandation, and I was totally disappointed with the food. Harumaki and soft shell crab entrees tasted only of batter and oil! The chef's special were
far from being special... Everything tasted the same and the dipping sauces for the maki sushis were all the same! In addition way over priced for what u get!
Eggs are eggs no matter where you go, but the service in this place was great! We were greeted by 4 waitresses, service was fast, coffee got filled at least 5 times. I was impressed on how good the service was!
A small quaint resto, good service, and food was flavorful.
Good place for a quick bite or for takeout, just don't expect anything fancy. Prices are cheap and quantities are big.
The food was very tasty and fresh. I am not crazy about the ambiance. Feels more like a reception hall than a restaurant.
went back to this resto not too long ago, and i was disappointed. Food wasn't as tasty, it was cold, and service was not the greatest. Very choppy, quick, and a bit on the rude side.
Service was very attentive and friendly. Portions at Ottavio's are very generous. Nice ambiance, with a trndy new look. Great addition to Anjou/St Leonard area.
It is a quaint little spot. Would have enjoyed it more if it was a warm summer day on the terrasse. Not much choices for breakfast, other than croissant, danishes and muffins. The coffe was great and service was rapid. I would go back maybe for lunch but not for breakfast.
This place definately needs a makeover. As for the food, very plain and simple. Calamaris had no real taste to them, the spanakopita felt like it was one of those frozen kinds you can buy at a supermarket. From what I ate and tasted all evening, their soup was the only authentic, and bursting with flavor. Would I go back, definately not.
Very trendy atmosphere, and the resto itself is huge. Can definately accomodate large groups and parties. I was with a group of friends and there were no complaints with regards to the food. Houston burger is a must try, very flavorful. I would definately go back.
Great resto in the heart of RDP, small and quaint little resto. I've been twice, and both times the resto was a little empty, but i enjoyed the company i was with. Service was impecable, and surprisingly if there is something you feel like eating that is not on the menu, the chef is very flexible and can whip it up for you. A definate try for people living in RDP.
Very vast selection on the menu, and the portions are plentiful. I tried the combo pad thai, which was good with a great taste. The prices are also very reasonable. The resto is beautifully decorated. Great choice for a BYOB.
unfortunately i did not have the pleasure of eating sushi, but from what i saw the looked yummy. i had the chicken teriyaki and it was good. service is extreemly polite and curteous. prices are good and its a byow, which makes it even better. cant wait to try the sushi... and they deliver... another plus.
Very impressive and beautiful decor. The place is stunning, very high ceilings with beautiful columns and chandaliers. Only thing was the TV, it didn't quite go with the decor, and the fell of the place. Service was very polite and curteous and fast. Food was tasty. Arugula and spinach salad was refreshing with the icewine vinegrette which was also light and not overwhelming. The lamb shank was cooked well and was tender, i wasn't a fan 100% but it tasted good. The resto is recommended.
went there for the chicken and left slightly disappointed. i found that there was hardly any flavor. it was an ordinary chicken which i could have eaten anywhere. i wasnt impressed with the resto. prices on the other hand are great for the portions they serve.
had no reservations on a friday night because they dont take any. i was told to show for 9 and the wait would not be long. low and behold there was an hour wait for the dinning room seating. luckily the hostess on the lounge side put something together for us and we were served
in 20 min. food was great, very flavorful and plentiful. service was also quick and courteous.
Not my ideal restaurant to meet with friends to catch up and have conversation, because it's very loud and rowdy, especially with the live music being played. If you order from the table d'hote, the prices are well worth it, or else a little pricey. Food itself was standard italian, nothing out of the ordinary.
Really not the place to start looking at decor and ambiance, because there is none. The food was fresh and tasty, and plentiful. Service was cold and a little slow in the beginning. I was very dissapointed to hear that they don't serve bottled water. Very weird if you ask me. Not my choice of restos for Chinatown. I've been to better.
Service was alright for a sunday morning, not entirely that busy either. Food was average, i've had better breakfast elsewhere. An alright choice for a last minute no fuss breakfast place.
Service was very courteous and polite. Sushi was average, some better than others. NDG and Anzie roll where great. Maki rolls are cut too big...they should consider making 5 pieces rather than 4 huge ones!
Food was great, very flavorful and big portions. Service was a little slow, on the upside it gave us ample time to digest in between. Definately a must try for people living in RDP.
Great ambiance, with an eclectic DJ keeping the crowd entertained. Our waitress was very helpful, but the waiters were slightly lost for they kept bringing our food to the wrong table. The food was alright, although I was expecting more. We shared 3 appetizers as well as the méchant burger with the poutine. Spinach dip; we could have done without. Crab cakes; were great. Shrimp tempura; dipping sauce was good. Although it i recommend removing the shrimp tail, before breading the whole shrimp. Kind of misleading when you think the whole shrimp is edible, and you bite into a crunchy tail. (gross)
Méchant burger was a huge portion, slightly undercooked for my liking.
All in all i'm glad i went to this resto for the ambiance, and entertainmentl, but i didn't enjoy the food all that much to want to go back.
First time at this resto, went there on a recommandation, and i was satisfied with the experience. Service was fast and very attentive. Our waitress was very helpful and social. I ebelive that the best part of their menu are the entrées. Many choices and all very different from eachother. Prices are very reasonable as well. I didn't try the Oreo dessert, although i thought the idea was very original, my bf admitted they tasted too much of fried. I would recommend this resto to people, to try out at least once.
Nothing great about the food here. Very typical and ordinary.
The evening started off a little rough, considering they lost my reservations, which were made the very same day. With that ebing said, they quickly accomodated us finding us a spot in the bar section. Service started off very well with our waitress but got worse as the evening progressed. We felt like we were kinda forgetten towards the end of the night, and literally had to ask to speak with out waitress so we can see the dessert menu and order. Food wise...entrees were good, pizzas were very thin and well cooked with that said, I've eaten tastier pizza but that's my opinion. We were kinda dissapointed with the dessert menu, for we were looking forward to eat the nutella foccaccia, only to find out it was removed from the menu. I wasn't overly impressed with this new restaurant.
Went to this resto because I happened to be in the area and you hear so much about it on the radio. We had the pizza since we figured it would be their specialty since they advertise having a wood burning oven. The pizza was good, generous with the toppings. The fact that you can choose whole wheat pizza dough and pasta is a plus.
Great atmosphere and decor, especially if your seated in one of the tatami rooms. Great for bigger parties, I recommend to reserve the tatamis. There was a good selection on the menu, and the portions were huge.
The service was very quick, but not very warm. We never got a smile out of our waitress or waiter. The menu is very extensive and surely something for everyone in there. We started off with spring rolls, which were decent, the peanut sauce tasted watered down. I had the sweet and sour chicken stir fry, which was plentiful and very flavourful. My BF had the chicken and shrimp pad thai, which was also very yummy, yet a little too spicy. I recommend this resto for people looking for a quick, healthy bite before an even at the bell center, which is exactly the reason we went.
This restaurant has a casual feel to it. The food was good, primarily the pizzas which are from a wood burning oven. Portions are plentiful. The slight downside is that the wait to get our main meals was a little long.
Very spacious place, was clean and proper. The prices were affordable and the portions were plentyful. Would suggest this place for a quick bite.
I wasn't very imrpessed with this restaurant. I went for a quick supper before an event. I had a pizza, and found it to be not cooked enough and very oily. A friend had a salad, and it was drenched in oil. The place itself looked a bit run down, messy and not all that hygenic being as the bathrooms are right infront of the kitchen and being that it is an open concept kitchen, I found that to be slightly disgusting. Maybe this was an occasional off day, but unfortunately i wouldn't take take the time to go back.
Long line ups on the weekend, so be patient. Very trendy place, with music booming, it was my only concern because it makes it for a very loud place. Too loud for the morning. The food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were huge.
Picked up 2 dozen churros yesterday, and if I may say, were very good. I prefer the chocolat to the caramel! This place is very small inside, not much place to sit down.
Service was impeccable, and very attentive. You feel like your part of a big family at this resto. They are also very helpful with suggesting meals as well as portions. Very casual dinning. Food is good as well, such as calamaris, grilled octopus, and the lokoumades are great!
The service was great here, and the food was good as well. A good breakfast resto for the area! The pancakes were big and very fluffy!
Very chill place, easy going and casual. The food is good, i recommend ordering the 'The total' so you can try a little of everything. Prices are good as well.
The food was just delicious, especially the patatoes! they are just Yummy! There is usually a wait, but it's truly worth it!
Wide selection on their Menu which is great, cause someone is sure to find somthing they like! The portions are huge and very satisfying! The food is fresh and very tasty. One of my fav. breakfast places! Weekends can be very busy and there is usually a wait, but it's surely worth it!
Service was excellent and attentive, the atmoshpere and ambiance was warm, and the food was great.
CHOCOLATE HEAVEN!!!! If possible i would have tried one of everything! Definately recommended!
Great Ice Cream. I recommend this spot for a summer evening, for you can enjoy your ice cream, while taking a nice walk in the heart of little italy!
I had an enjoyable time with my friends at this resto. I was not blown away by the food, but it was average. The service was good and fast. Would I go back? Not particularly. I tried it once, and thatès enough.
To be quite honest I never ate here, but I've been for drinks, and it is great! I love the atmosphere, it is very relaxed and chill.
It's not my first time at this resto. It is very suitable for large parties, because they can accomodate very well, with their big space. The service and ambiance is good. The food is good as well. Calamari entree and the grilled mushrooms with goat cheese are very good and plentiful. You can't go wrong with a grilled chicken or veal.
It was my first time at this resto. The menu resembles that of Baton Rouge, Madisons and Houston. As much as all these restos wish to copy Baton Rouge in their food, you can't even compare. The food at these restos doesn't even come close to that of Baton rouge. For instance, the spinach dip was slightly too cheesy, and the BBQ was very sweet, but then again this is my personal opinion. If I were given the choice among all the restos previously mentioned, Baton Rouge will have my vote evey time!
I truly enjoy coming to this little resto. Instead of ordering out pizza, (which they do as well) I prefer coming and eat at this little place. I agree that there is not much space, and it's not fitted for big groups, but it's still worth trying for a casual dining experience. I cannot comment on the whole of their menu for I've only tried the pizzas, and every one of them was great. I would certainly recommend this little pizza place.
I was there on a saturday night for drinks with a couple of girlfriends, and this place was very pleasant. Not too crowded, just enough people to make a great ambiance. Music was good, service was good, drinks as well. Did not try the food, so I cannot comment on that aspect. This place is highly recommended for to groups of friends wanting to just hang out and have a good time.
This restaurant is quite small and very quaint. The service was surprisingly good, although we were warned before hand that the service might have been a little slower than usual for they had two large groups. They were courteous enough to advise us at the time we called for our reservations. The food was good. The entrées were very good, the harumaki, and the rice canapés were excellent. In my personal opinion the sushi was average, I've eaten better elsewhere, and I've eaten worse as well. Their menu is very reasonably priced as well as their wine menu!
Very quaint restaurant, with limited seating, therefore sure to get attentive service! The food is very mouth savoring and made fresh. You can surely taste the freshness in the ingrediants.
Highly recommended, this along with Restaurant Lucca is a hidden gem in the heart of Little Italy!
I've been to this restaurant once, with a group of friends, and from the outside this restaurant looks beautiful, like it doesn't belong in the area it is situated. Once inside, the decor is very nice, and we were attended to very quickly. The food on the other hand, is quite oridnary. nothing at all to rant and rave about. I had veal with a side of pasta, and my food unfortunately was cold, and not very tasty. I have not recommended this restaurant to anyone, nor do i see myself returning back. Only plus, is that the bill was inexpensive, and it's a bring your own wine!
Great ambiance, good music, friendly and attentive service. This cafe is great to enjoy at lunch time, for a casual dinner, an excellent place for dessert, as well as a drink among friends! One of the best hang outs in the east end!
Compared to the other sushi restaurants I have been to, this Japanese restaurant does not even come close. The ambiance of the place is very dull and boring. The maki rolls in my opinion were very miniature compared to other places I've been. In addition they were not very tasty. They had a very fishy smell and taste to them. The only roll which was tasty was the dragon eye, the rest unfortunately reminded me of supermarket style sushis. The service, I must admit was very attentive, and the only other good thing, is that, it's a bring your own wine. I would definately not recommend this restaurant, for there are many others in the area worth trying.
Unfortunately this restaurant is hidden in the heart of little italy, not very visible to the eye. This is unfortunate because it is one or if not the best restaurant in little italy. The food is absolutely delicious, I ate the grilled octopus, as an entre, which was very tasty and tender. Followed by a beautiful melt in your mouth Filet Mignon. The portions are quite gererous, that i regretably had no room left for dessert. This restaurant is small, and has a very intimate setting, with it's dimmed atmoshpere. For those who have never ate at the this restaurant it is a definite must, it will not be regretted.
Very casual setting in this restaurant with limited seating. The food was delicious, especially the General Tao Chicken. Large juicy pieces of chicken, perfectly covered with the general tao sauce. I haven't tasted better elsewhere. This restaurant is surely recommended on my behalf.
I thought the decor of this restaurant was very nice. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 for our reservations, but the restaurant was courteous enough to give us entrées on the house. The service throughout the meal was very good, and the food as well. Really big portions, and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to others, and I would definately go back as well.
