Always an experience. Their Mac and Cheese is divine. Love this place, can't wait to go again.

I hate buffets. I hate the fact that they put you in tiny tables and hoard you into lineups waiting with anticipation for a bite. That being said this one was pretty good. The sushi (for what it is) seemed fresh and not soggy. Pizza was good but a little greasy. Souvlaki's were a nice addition but salty. Crab legs were a nice touch but overcooked. Dessert was so-so with the warm donut holes being the hit of the party. The rest of my gang loved it and I was pleasently surprised, being a beyond picky eater. If you like buffets, I think this one is one of the better ones.

I was so happy to find this place. I love Indian food and often go out of my way to find great places, and this place was close to perfect. The only drawback that I had was the service was not up to par and the Butter chicken sauce was a little too bland, the chicken itself was cubed breast and not a good quality. Lamb was fantastic, rice was cooked too perfection, light and fluffy and the naan was warm and melt in your mouth fresh. Can't wait to go back!

One of the best burgers I've had outside of my own kitchen. We had the black and blue and the st. paulin burgers. The black and blue was much better for the simple fact that it had a little more taste then the st. paulin with harissa (Which I expected to have a bit of a bite, it did not!) We went for the first time on Thursday at lunchtime (we got there before noon to avoid the crowds.) Service(at the counter when you walk in) was quick and knowledgable but really had very little else in the way of personality, I always enjoy a little smile or a sense of humor with people when they are the first that greet you, but alas it was not for me, but this is petty on my behalf and not worth a second mention. I went for the food and was very happy with what I got. My only complaint was that when I asked the woman at the counter how her medium was she responded red, (which to me implies medium rare to rare) I like my burgers pink and wet (I was told that is medium well), it was not it was medium well as I expected dry but still a little juicy. My fault in not trusting my own instincts. The fries were very good and they give you a huge amount. I will definitly go back.

This is my go to Junk food addiction. My husband swears the chicken is fake or saturated with water. I love the fact that the tatzyki is overly salty and thick. This is not a place to go to all the time, like I posted at the beginning "JUNK FOOD"............but yummy.

Was there for the first time last week. The decor is gorgeous. We were a group of 5 sitting at a table that I felt was a little cramped, however we were still able to enjoy conversation over dinner. The service was interesting. I thought we lucked out when we first arrived as our waiter was at our table within the first 5 minutes telling us about their specials and asking us if we were ready to order. He seemed fairly knowledgeable and was quick to respond to our many, many questions. However that was pretty much the end of the service from him, the only other time he showed up was to present the bill and then he hovered around until we paid and he actually had the nerve to ask me "How much change would you like?" That's a pet peeve of mine. The food was O.K, nothing special. I had a pesto and vegetable pasta on Angel hair that was rather bland, needed salt, garlic and maybe a little something, something to juice it up. Their french fried looked amazing. (Wish I had a big plate of those!) All in all the night was enjoyable and I wouldn't say I would make it a habit of dining here, but if a friend were to take me I wouldn't put up a fuss. (I have in the past.)

I love the grilled chicken and the tatziki. Everything else, including the gyro is average.

I wasn't crazy about the soup, but I did find their imperial rolls and ginger chicken to die for. Ingredients are very fresh and the owner even went out of his way to make sure I got a fried banana for my birthday. Thank You.

Don't expect much, it's pretty well a counter with 2 tables, but the subs are definitely "THE BEST IN MONTREAL" They bake their own bread and stuff it with copious amounts of meat, cheese and then they top it off with fresh, crisp lettuce and tomato and tons of their delicious sauce. Well worth the drive and the hunt for the street in Lasalle.

I've done it. I have dined at one of the top resto's in Montreal. Was there on a Thursday night, very busy, thankfully we had a reservation and I was with a very good client, so we were treated a little better then most. Unfortunatly for me, the service was a little more then friendly, the wait staff etc. decided that my dining companion was such a good customer that we could wait a little extra. Which was fine, because we were there to dine not dash. The food was fantastic. I had their Veal Chop, which was done a little different, the veal was deboned and minced and then reshaped, breaded and sauteed. The accompaning sauce was done with chanterelle mushrooms and pearl onions, the vegetable were baby carrots from their garden in the back. For dessert the waitress suggested the green ball, very nice, home-made fresh mint ice cream with a truffle in the middle and encrusted with fresh mint and what I think was pistachio's. I will definatly go back. It was a little pricey but well worth it.

I finally made it to Holder for dinner and it was every bit the experiece that I expected minus the service. The food was exceptional I had seared Scallops with a Cauliflour foam, Rice pilaf with Wild mushrooms and Baby mussels, accompanied with roasted Asperagus wrapped in pancetta. Devine. The service on the other hand started off very well, the waitress explained the Table D'Hote very well but when it came to the wines she seemed a little young and inexperienced to be selling wine. She was not sure of the different types, we ordered a beautiful Cab only to be dissappointed because they were either out of stock or didn't have it on their wine list anymore. She brought us a Shiraz instead and said it came highly recommended, which was a nice touch, We however were not in the mood, so we ordered another Cabernet which was served to us by some guy (maybe the sommelier) only after our meal arrived. We enjoyed our meal and waited for our waitress to clear our plates for half an hour at which point one of my party got up to find someone to finish our table. The table was cleared and again we were out of luck when it came to ordering coffee and dessert. We actually asked the busboy twice for our waitress to take our dessert order. Finally we finished our meal with a second waiter never to see our original waitress again until we were leaving, she was sitting next to the bar doing her cash. I won't blame the waiters for this, I blame poor management, Never cut a waiter halfway into a person dining experience.

The food is great, the calamari are not the best I've ever had but they are decent (providing they don't over cook them and then they become chewy). The service is terrible and there is nothing to be said for the ambience. I frequent this establishment about 4 times a year my husband loves the gyro. The place is good if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite. The last few times I have been, it seems like they have now given up on the food as well as the service. The only thing worth going for (in my Husbands opinion) are the Calamari. The last 2 times they didn't have the gyro and I tried the steak and the chicken pita and they were both not worth it. Too bad.

I decided to try this place after rave reviews from friends. I realy didn't find it that good. The General tao chicken tasted a little like windex, the springrolls were very good, but nothing could make up for the horrible service. There are better places in chinatown for food and much better service.

The first time I went to this place was on St. Viateur and I thought it was alright. Then I found this one close to where I work and was so happy because I really love greek food. To make a long story short it was horrible, the pikilia plate (which is always the best way to judge a greek resto) was bland and did not have much choice. The tomatoes and cucumbers where half rotten and looked like they had either been cut the day before or a few days before when I asked for a correction I was told by a very put off waitress that they were cut that morning. The calamari fell into the fried but bland catagory. I wish people would not be so afraid to season their food accordingly. Don't bother.
