We live in the area & hadn't noticed this restaurant on Queen Mary before & decided to give it a try. As a very recent addition to the CDN/NDG food scene, some (minor) growing pains are to be expected,iI.e. There was a mistake made re. our take out order (which we didn't realize unti we got home) However, when we called to let them know, they were very apologetic and immediately offered to have us come back and pick up the originally intended order- which we did. We thoroughly enjoyed every element of the meal we sampled (the "Mouton grillé familial). The coleslaw, rice, & plantain (often just "filler" sides & taken for granted in other establishments) were delicious, as was the main event, the grilled meat. Yet another very pleasant surprise we're the beignets, which were fresh and perfectly crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with just the right level of sweetness! What's more, the portions were ample and more than satisfying (though I hate to think of how many beignets I COULD have eaten!!!) We will definitely be back!
