Douro is an excellent restaurant. We arrived for a late lunch on a week-day and were quickly served the day's specials. The food was superb - portuguese cuisine at its best. The wine list is impressive and the dessert dishes we had were excellent. The service was very friendly and the "ambience" is contemporary with a well balanced regional (portuguese) touch. This restaurant is a "must" for the lovers of good food, and represents portuguese cuisine like no other we have visited recently (in Portugal or abroad).
