Just this past weekend my girlfriend and I had arranged a weekend in Montreal to celebrate her birthday. Prior to our travels, we didn't have anything set in stone as to where we wanted to have dinner. After deciding on Italian cuisine we narrowed our decision to a couple of restaurants one of which we concluded on, and that was W&Gs. Everything and anything you would want hope for on a night out were simply amazing. Our server, Tony was one of the best I've ever had. Great sense of humour, made us feel very welcomed and chatted with us throughout the entire night. He was very personable and had great energy. It's funny how in today's world we assume everyone to be like that in the serving industry only to be disappointed more times than not. Sure as heck not at W&G. The food was amazing. one of the best firewood pizzas I've had, I'm a big eater and love high-quality food, as does my girlfriend. She loved her pasta, White sangria was awesome, dessert was super tasty and the overall vibe of the restaurant was extremely welcoming and spacious. Overall I couldn't ask for more and thought it ought to be recognized and written about. I will return, and we need more Tonys in the world.
