From December 15th to 20th, 2026, the Salon des métiers d'art du Québec (SMAQ) celebrates its 70th anniversary with a reimagined edition at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal. More than 200 artisans from across Quebec will showcase handcrafted works spanning ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, woodworking and contemporary crafts.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet established and emerging makers, explore an immersive exhibition highlighting the event's 70-year history through archival material and personal stories, and discover creations that celebrate Indigenous craftsmanship and the next generation of artisans.
The event also features a selection of Quebec food producers and culinary artisans, allowing guests to experience local flavours alongside exceptional craftsmanship. Admission also includes a 10% discount at the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec boutiques.
Tickets go on sale August 23rd, 2026.
