Event Details

Event Description

La Grande Coulée: Festival de bière au Mont-Orford 2026 is back for its 10th edition from September 18 to 20, 2026, inviting beer lovers to enjoy a unique festival experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the Eastern Townships. Set at the foot of the slopes of Mont-Orford, the festival transforms the mountain into a lively brewing village where local beers, food, music and outdoor activities come together.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can discover a wide selection of beers from more than 20 exhibitors, sample local and craft brews, and meet the passionate producers behind them. Tastings are enjoyed using the official 2026 festival glass and tasting tokens, with each tasting requiring between three and four tokens depending on the exhibitor.

The experience goes well beyond beer. Festivalgoers can take the hybrid lift to the summit of Mont-Orford and enjoy spectacular panoramic views from the Zone Kezber, or explore the 4 km Sentier des Assoiffés, which combines scenic viewpoints with three tasting stations along the route. Food trucks, a snack bar, picnic areas and lively entertainment are also part of the weekend experience.

Music is an important part of La Grande Coulée, with live performances taking place throughout the weekend. The 2026 lineup includes Les Breastfeeders on Friday, Louis-Jean Cormier on Saturday, as well as a One Love tribute to Bob Marley and Joyeux Calvaire!, a tribute to Les Cowboys Fringants, on Sunday. DJs and roaming entertainment add to the festive atmosphere throughout the site.

The festival is also family-friendly, with activities designed for younger visitors. Children aged six and over can access the site and hybrid lift for $10, while children five and under can access the site and lift free of charge. A free shuttle will also operate continuously between Magog's Plage de Magog and Mont-Orford during the festival.

Whether you come for the craft beer, live music, mountain views, food or simply the chance to enjoy a beautiful fall weekend outdoors, La Grande Coulée offers a distinctive Québec festival experience where brewing culture and the great outdoors meet.
